'Peacehaven' is a lovely bungalow that has been well kept and now under new ownership. It has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, a lounge/diner, a very well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom that boasts the luxury of a corner bath! Immediately to the side of the back door is a patio with garden furniture and on the other side is an allocated space for one car.
Situated in a small wooded valley at the foot of Bodmin Moor, this is an ideal place to 'relax and get away from it all'. You are surrounded by typical Cornish countryside. Within easy reach of many attractions though. Pub and restaurant nearby and many eating places in the area.

Entry through the side door brings you into the kitchen/diner area, pictured below. The kitchen is well -equipped with a four-ring cooker, oven and grill, a microwave oven, toaster, refrigerator and washing machine. A wide range of cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery makes self-catering easy for you. Walking through, towards the lounge, the dining table comfortably seats four people.
The comfortable lounge area has seating for four people on a three-piece suite, a coffee table, a television, a video player and a cassette tape deck/radio. An efficient night-storage heater in the lounge is well situated to spread warmth around the bungalow. In the lounge this can be supplemented by the 'cast iron' flicker-flame electric fire, complete with its remote handset for easy operation.
The main bedroom has a double bed with built-in cupboard space above, maximising space in the room. The bright, well decorated room also has a shelf with mirror above, an electric fan heater and a hair-dryer. The second bedroom has two single beds (3'), again with built-in storage space above as well as a bedside cabinet between the beds, a shelf with mirror above and an electric fan heater.
The bathroom includes the toilet, a wash-basin and the corner bath, which also has an overhead power shower. A cupboard next to the bathroom houses the hot water tank and some useful shelving space.

Local activities in and around Liskeard, South West
Although 'Peacehaven' and our other bungalows are all wonderful places to ‘get away from it all’ and to spend time in a peaceful and relaxing environment, they are also well situated as a ‘centre’ from which to visit some of the many attractions in South-East Cornwall and South-West Devon.
The fishing villages of Looe, Polperro and Mevagissey are a short drive away. Golitha Falls are just a five minute drive from Mallards. Sibleyback and Colliford Lakes, both within 20 miutes, offer fishing and watersports as well as nature walks.
Ramblers have the expanse of Bodmin Moor, and even Dartmoor, given a short car trip.
Garden lovers and National Trust members are spoilt for choice in Cornwall. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydroc, Boconnoc, Cothele and many more.
Children can be entertained at Dobwalls Theme Park (5 minutes away), Trethorne Leisure Farm (30 minutes away), or any of the beaches on the North or South coasts.
Plymouth is just a 40 minute drive away, with the National Marine Aquarium, the Barbican and the Hoe, the Plymouth Dome and the Theatre Royal. The Tamar Valley offers many quiet retreats, as well as places such as Cotehele House and the Quay at Calstock.
For golfers, St. Mellion is just a 20 minute drive away and plenty of other courses are within easy reach. Follow the link to 'Local golf' for further information.
Of course, the Eden Project will top the list for many visitors and 'Peacehaven' is well situated, just 25-30 minutes away by road.
Trethorne Leisure Farm
A fantastic day out with the children. Plenty of animals and plenty of activities to keep them all busy. There's even a golf course as well.
Another great day out for the children (and adults). Within 5 minutes drive. Option to purchase reduced price return entry for SEVEN days. Close enough to keep popping back to fill the odd hour here and there.
M5 to Exeter. A38 through Plymouth, over Tamar Bridge to Liskeard. Follow signs to Launceston. Rosecraddoc Lodge is on the left, about a mile out of Liskeard, on the Launceston road.
