This delightful cottage is an ideal place to relax and is well positioned in the small, peaceful village of Cendrieux, close to Sainte Alvere, in the heart of the Dordogne. Surrounded by magnificent countryside and woodland, Maison Natalie offers spacious and private self catering accommodation with a pretty and totally enclosed garden, beautifully positioned overlooking the restored church.
Centrally located between the capital city of the Dordogne, Perigueux and the bustling old town of Bergerac, it also affords excellent access to the regions many other activities and places of interest.
A large detached garage and workshop with private parking are included.
A charming cottage in an idyllic location. Superbly appointed, offering privacy and peace and quiet whilst maintaining facilities of a small village. The village has a well-stocked shop with fresh bread, bar and post office. 5 minutes drive away is Sainte Alvere with boulangeries, butcher, supermarket, restaurant, bar and tourist information with internet access. There is a weekly market in the square and numerous others locally. During the summer there are night markets which gather villagers & tourists together to enjoy local food, wine and music.
Many outdoor activities are available; canoeing and water sports on the Dordogne River, walking trails, cycling, horse riding to name but a few. Many historic sites, museums, and chateaux can also be enjoyed. Excellent restaurants abound & opportunities for wine tasting are many and include the famous wine trail. Bergerac & Perigueux only 30 minutes away with narrow old lanes, festivals, shopping and people-watching opportunities.

Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. Maison Natalie has a very sunny garden, which is entirely enclosed and gated, making it safe for children and pets. It is totally private and not overlooked. There is a large garage and parking.

Children and pets are particularly welcome. The gardens are safe and enclosed. There are many walks on the doorstep for 4 legged friends.
Local activities in and around Sainte Alvere, Aquitaine/Dordogne
An ideal base to see the countryside and the many attractions of this area. It is ideal for walking and cycling with many established paths. There are opportunities for many outdoor activities, such as horse riding, tennis, fishing and golf. There is a beautiful lake beach close-by and fantastic watersports on the Dordogne and Vezere rivers.
The region is famed for its gastronomy and there are many farmers' markets, restaurants and vinyards to explore. The Bergerac wine trail is also very popular with our guests.
Very popular are the towns of Bergerac and Perigueux, with there old towns, squares and shops. As are the historic bastide towns which are close by.
Cendrieux is in the middle of a region of outstanding natural beauty - there really is something for everyone!
