Casa Pensata is a privately owned holiday villa in Costa Brava, Spain. This spacious villa is situated approximately four and a half kilometres from the ancient fishing town of Roses, nestling in the foothills of the Pyrenees, and is surrounded by the Costa Brava's open countryside of vineyards, lemon and olive trees.
Villa Pensata is a lovely two storey detached property tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas whilst conveniently located for easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, banks, post office and bakeries. Beautiful beaches are all just minutes away, as are the market town of Roses and the fishing village of Cadaques. This is an ideal place just to sit in the shade of olive trees, have a cool beer and watch the world go by....
This well appointed, detached villa offer two storeys; the entrance on the ground floor has two doors, one leading to the laundry room and the second to the lower floor of the villa which comprises two bedrooms, a bathroom and the stairs leading to the upper floor. The first floor comprises a well equipped modern kitchen, a third bedroom, second bathroom, and large bright and airy lounge. The lounge opens up on to a terrace which contains a table and chairs for al fresco dining, barbecue and awning which can be opened as and when required. From the terrace a few steps down lead to the swimming pool, which his approximately 6 m x 4 m.
Bedroom 1: is located on the first floor and contains one double bed. Bedroom 2: located on the ground floor has one double bed and bunk beds. Bedroom 3: located on the ground floor has two bunk beds.
The laundry room contains a washing machine, tumble dryer and clothes airer.
The property stands in its own private gardens and benefits from private off road parking for up to three cars.

The fishing town of Roses was discovered by the Greeks. With its narrow streets and glorious sandy beach, the town lures visitors, offering numerous shops and fine restaurants specialising in Catalan cuisine and seafood caught by the local fishermen. Cadaqués, of which Salvador Dalí said was the most beautiful village in the world, remains unspoiled and remote despite the publicity received when Dalí lived there. With its crystal blue waters, fishing boats, sandy beaches, whitewashed houses, narrow twisting streets and a 16th-century parish up on a hill you really feel you're off the beaten path.
Empuriabrava is Europe’s largest residential marina with 37 km of navigable canals where many of its properties have private access to the canals and owners moor their boats at the bottom of their garden. Two championship 18 hole courses area a car’s drive away.
The nearest, Perelada Golf Club, is a magnificent course beside the medieval village of Perelada. This beautiful village has a castle and gardens that are now home to a casino and restaurant. The village is also famous for its bodegas producing superb wines and cava. Castello d’Empuries reached the height of its splendour in the Middle Ages when the Counts of Empuries set up residence in the 11th century and the town became the county capital. The heart of the town, where the buildings date back to this period, still conserves its medieval appearence. The marshlands park of Els Aiguamolls de l’Emporda extends from the foothills of the Rhoda Mountains to the mouth of the Fluvia Vell river. The park is home to a large number of birds and animals and acts as a haven for many migratory species.
Other activities include Costa Brava’s largest water park; go-kart tracks; tennis clubs; basketball, football; squash courts; mini-golf and cross country cycling. With the French border a 20 minute drive away we think you’ll agree the area seems to meet the vast range of tastes and requirements demanded from its guests.
