Sanctuary Villa sleeps up to six people and has a private, solar heated swimming pool with water feature. Sanctuary Villa is completely furnished and equipped to the highest standards, and overlooks a canal teeming with wildlife. The villa is built to the very highest standards and is furnished superbly throughout. Sanctuary Villa has approximately 3300sq ft of living space offering a relaxing and calming ambiance for your vacation, including the tranquil view from the pooldeck of the canal which offers a natural refuge for visiting wildlife.
The fully screened solar heated pool is south-east facing giving access to the sun almost all day. However, the clever design of the house ensures that shade is always available when you need it. The lionhead water features provide the calming sound of gently trickling water, and together with the view of the scenic canal and visiting wildlife, you are guaranteed outdoor rest and relaxation.
Kitchen & utility room. Our home has a spacious, fully equipped fitted kitchen & utility room. The villa aslo benefits from a large. Living room and formal dining area & family room with a nook.
Master bedroom with en-suite. The spacious master bedroom has a king size bed, with bed side tables each side. There is a rocker chair and loveseat for relaxing or watching TV. There is a flat screen TV and telephone provided. Luxury en-suite facilites include luxurious walk-in Roman-style shower, seperate toilet, corner oval bath, and his & hers vanity basins. Plenty of bath towels are provided in a seperate closet for your convenience. Double bedroom and second shower room. This comfortable bedroom with double bed shares use of the second bathroom close by. This bedroom has plenty of storage space and flatscreen TV. Twin bedroom. The light and airy twin bedroom has an attractive 'Seaside' theme with plenty of storage space and shares the second bathroom.

Rotonda West is one of the small, delightful communities located on the Cape Haze Peninsula in Charlotte County in the southwest Gulf Coast of Florida. This is a tranquil area of unspoiled natural beauty and has a rich history. The closest beach from the villa is about 10 minutes' drive, with a wide variety of different beaches and natural spaces within a 20 minute drive. Cape Haze Peninsula is approximately 100 miles south of Tampa, between the cities of Sarasota and Punta Gorda. It rests on the waters of the Myakka River and Lemon Bay.
A short drive from Sanctuary villa you can be on one of the many glorious beaches that grace the area. Relax on the beach on the pristine white sand and shells and let the gentle surf wash over your toes, or lose yourself in searching for beautiful shells and sharks teeth. You can relax for hours watching pelicans diving for fish, a pod of dolphins fishing up and down the shallow offshore waters or the sandpipers and other shorebirds dodging the surf as they probe the shoreline. Most evenings bring spectacular sunsets to view from the beaches, when seeing the sun literally appear to inch towards and then dip below the horizon is always magical. Our particular favourite beaches are Stump Pass State Park Beach, Gasparilla Island Beach and Boca Grande State Park Beach. Middle Beach and Stump Pass Beach are the closest, and as is normal in Florida, all are clean, easily accessible and with good restroom and water fountain facilities.
If you would like to explore wildlife in addition to that on view from the pooldeck of Sanctuary Villa, then within a short drive you can find State Parks, wildlife refuges and nature trails. You will see many ospreys and Dolphoins from the beaches. Grande tours offer excellant trips to view the adundant wildlife.
