There are beautifully preserved mosaics, mythological & ancient ruins within walking distance & by car you can sample the magnificent stretch of coastline with aquamarine sea, a bird & animal park, snake George. Cyprus has much to explore, from pine covered mountain peaks to wine producing villages, Kato Paphos is rich in ancient history & the property is surrounded with numerous ancient monuments & sites.
Twenty minutes drive there's the Akamas nature reserve where wild turtles come to nest on the beautiful beaches with excellent hiking & walking trails.
There are numerous pubs, clubs, tavernas & restaurants nearby. There are English language cinemas in the town and concerts are held in front of the medieval fort and at the ancient Odeon. Paphos also has a number of fascinating museums & UNESCO World Heritage sites to visit.
There is skiing & snowboarding from January to March on Mount Olympus in the Troodos Mountains, about 2 hours away from Paphos.
There are 3 championship 18 hole golf courses within easy reach. Tsada Golf Club is 20 minutes from Paphos, Secret Valley Golf course is about 20km east of Paphos & a new 5 star course, Aphrodite Hills slightly further on.
