Duquesa del Mar is located very close to the sea on the Golf del Sur resort. The apartment overlooks the (heated) pool with Jacuzzi and there is a Terrace and Garden area above all accessed via security gates to maintain privacy and the quality of the site. It is largely residential and therefore an element of peace and tranquillity reign; site rules, particularly relating to late night noise should be observed.
The Air-Conditioned Penthouse is fully furnished and equipped to a high standard throughout with an internal area of some 80sq M and a large and very private balcony that gets the sun all day. An electrically operated sun blind is provided for comfort. With Marble floors throughout there is a fully fitted kitchen, The main bedroom has a King Size bed & own Television with a full en-suite inc Jacuzzi bath. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and its own small balcony with use of the ‘Family’ bathroom. Both bedrooms have large mirrored wardrobes. Two high quality sofa beds are available in the lounge for larger parties (or snorers). The penthouse is an ideal base for a perfect holiday. For those who like to keep in touch, Wi-Fi Internet Broadband is installed, just bring your lap top.
On the street level, 100M from the sea, is the Wild Geese Irish Bar (real Guiness a speciality) with regular entertainment and sports coverage. There are many good restaurants within a few strides from there catering for all tastes. Additional entertainment is available in San Blas Square (10 min walk or 2 min by Cab/Car). For those seeking a broader range of nightlife then a cab (20 Euros or so) will get you into Los Cristianos or Las Americas.
For those who hire a car underground parking is included with an entry just 15Metres from the steps of the apartment. Please note that there are about 12 steps up to the front door, all other areas are accessed by lifts.

Golf del Sur... Golf (2 excellent courses), Mini golf, Driving Ranges, Par 3 Courses, Fishing, Submarine Safari from Local Marina, Bowling (excellent all weather facility).
Los Cristianos (20 Mins)......has everything including Lovely Beaches, all sorts of Watersports, Boaat trips to see the Whales and Dolphins, coastal tours and Big Game Fishing Trips. From the Port you can head off to other Islands including the Special 'green' Island of Gommera where residents have their own Whistling language. Los Cristianos is family orientated and to make use of the 16Km prommenade you can hire mobility scooters. Book your excursions down at the Port and visit some of the Islands interior including Mount Tiede or join in the many walking excurions (Masca. Devils Gorge etc).
Los Abrigos (20 min walk along seafront) is a Spanish fishing village with some good fish restaurants and you can watch your lunch being pulled from the nets of the small fishing bots in the Harbor.
El Medano (20 Mins Cab/Car) for all your Windsurfing and Parasurfing needs !! At least worth watching these Jockeys !! Park in the town and head along the beach towards the The Red Rock hill and on the Right you'll find Cafe's and Restaurants where you can sit and watch. Cafe MM does wonderful breakfasts and lunches at very low prices.
Las Galletas (20 Mins Car/Cab) or go down to the sea, turn right and keep walking. This is an interesting walk (1 to 1.5 Hrs) with a bit of scrub land uphill walking. Takes you through a nudist beach and into El Silencio before continuing in Las Galletas. Las Galletas has many pedestrianised areas and if you searc the shops you'll find designer type clothes and mabe some gifts. Very spanishy, cheaper than the golf... head for the Port and get a drink or some lunch watching the waves roll in.
Do your big shops at Mercadonna or HyperDino for best value.
Airport to Los Critianosto on TF1 Mway. Next J Los Abrigos. Cross r/b to Los Abrigos. Next R take 2nd exit Golf Del Sur Past fountain & into 1 way. Look for Plaza, Winter Garden, Duquesa is next.
