Well maintained, tastefully decorated two-bedroom apartment with beautiful views of the historical town centre of Tavira. There are several beaches and golf courses within a few minutes drive. The town centre of Tavira is within walking distance and only a few minutes away. It is very easy to lose track of time in this lovely old town. You can spend hours strolling the charming cobblestone streets with its many restaurants, shops, bars and terraces to enjoy refreshment in the sun. Ilha de Tavira, its famous beach with many small restaurants is only a boat ride away. This is a very nice destination all year round.

Local activities in and around Tavira, Eastern Algarve
Tavira is one of the most unspoilt towns in the Algarve with the Rio Gilao running through its centre and spanned by a 7 arch Roman bridge. This lovely town retains it historic medieval past with the castle standing watch over some 30 churches. The winding cobble streets are full of small shops and riverside cafes and a daily market offers fresh fish from the local fishermen caught that morning, local fruit and vegetable. There is a varied choice of good restaurants at very reasonable prices.
During the season the outdoor 'amphitheatre' provides evening music and entertainment. The Algarve boasts long white sandy beaches with the coveted Blue Flag. The Ria Formosa Natural Reserve Park, which is a World Heritage site, has many rare special of birds enjoying the benefits of a larger system of tidal lagoons.
