Cabra House is within easy reach of town and beach (less than a mile) and the Dorset Coastal Path is just a brisk 10 minutes away (the Rodwell Trail).

Cabra House is an attractive 1930s semi-detached property with parking for 2 vehicles out front and a good sized back garden with garden furniture and a huge trampoline! Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one of which has a triple bunk, and a single bedroom. The large family bathroom has a shower over the bath. Downstairs there is a 20ft kitchen with breakfast bar and a large living/dining room, as well as a second sitting room with a sofabed. The main living room has a wood-burning fire for chilly spring or autumn days. There is wireless internet access in the house, if you prefer to have this disabled please let us know. There is a desktop computer in the second sitting-room. Bed linen is included, as well as some bath and hand towels, and a travel cot may be provided on request. A superstore is within a few minutes drive, corner shop 5 minutes walk away, 2 further large convenience stores with late opening within about 10 minutes walk.

Local activities in and around Weymouth, South
Relax in the garden while the kids spend hours on the trampoline, or jump in the car and be at the beach in a few minutes. If your family enjoys walking you will be spoilt for choice in the local area. You can join the South West Coast Path either at the Rodwell Trail or take another scenic walk to Chesil Beach and join the Coast Path from there. On the way you will be rewarded by some stunning views of Weymouth. Horse-riding and watersports are on offer nearby. Drive over to Portland where the coastline is really dramatic and climb to the top of Portland Bill, the famous lighthouse. How about some wonderful days out - travel east to Lulworth Cove, or west for some fossil hunting at Lyme? For the less energetic, you don't really need to go further than Weymouth Beach - it's got everything you need for a lovely family holiday: Punch n Judy, donkey rides, pedalos, and funfair attractions. A stroll up the esplanade to the pebble beach at Greenhill and Preston is a lovely way to spend the late afternoon.
