The house in Spalanni still retain s`the character from when it was a convent and modernisation of the properties is closely monitored by the Town Hall to ensure the ambiance of the area is retained. The village is split into 3 sections with these properties being in the lower section but for those who want a little active there is a very pleasant walk along the very quiet road to the top of the village or follow one of the many paths at the back of the house through the woods.
The accommodation has been tastefully modernised but with a keen eye on retaining the rustic charm of the house from its chestnut beams, ceilings and doors to the magnificent stone fire place in the kitchen. The house comprises of two bedrooms, each sleeping 2 people, a living room (also capable of sleeping another person), a shower room and a fully fitted kitchen, a full range of cupboards, ample work surfaces, fridge, oven and hob. All the rooms are fully furnished in a style sympathetic to the house. At the rear of the house is a large raised terrace balcony ideal for eating “Al Fresco” whilst soaking up the stunning views across the valley or just sitting and relaxing. Visitors have the use of the pool at Casa Giardino.

Because the entrance to this property is up 4 steps this property is not suitable for people wheelchair bound. Parking is about 50 yards away from the property and the whole village is traffic free

There is a beautiful golf coarse available at Poppi. Numerous signed walks through the Casentino National Park and Valley, taking in many local restaurants and sights. Florence is easily reached either by car or bus as is Arrezzo, Rome and many local villages of historic value
