Casa Luzia is a luxurious 4 bedroom open-plan villa in Tavira. Situated in a quiet area, this stunning property benefits from air conditioning throughout the house. 3 of the bedrooms are en-suite. The living room has three sofas and Sky TV, while the dining table seats eight guests. French doors lead out onto the cool, covered terrace with stunning views of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve. Steps lead down to the salted-water swimming pool area with its lovely flowerbeds and fruit trees. Alternatively, there are also two more terraces upstairs.
Casa Luzia is within minutes of idyllic beaches and stunning golf courses and a short drive to water parks and other attractions.
A car is recommended but not essential as taxis are cheap. A mini market, restaurant and bar are within walking distance.
A cot and high chair are provided free of charge.

Local activities in and around Tavira, Eastern Algarve
A short drive from the villa you can enjoy some of the best beaches on the Algarve which are rarely crowded. The extensive sandy beach at Manta Rota is highly recommended. Tavira's main beach is accessible by regular ferries. The wide, safe and clean sandy beach is one of Tavira's key features with restaurants and beach bars. In summer, there are watersports.
Benamor Golf Course is literally 2 minutes away. Other courses within a very short drive from the villa include Quinta da Ria/Quinta de Cima and Castro Marim, as well as the exclusive Monte Rei course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Seve Ballesteros has just opened a highly-rated course at Quinta do Vale.
The Ria Formosa Nature Reserve is a paradise for walkers and birdwatchers alike. For people who prefer a little more strenuous exercise there is also a local kitesurfing school, horse riding, tennis and many mountain bike trails. Boats leave the pier for deep-sea fishing all along the Algarve Coast.
An excellent commuter train service connects all the coastal towns of the Algarve with a frequency of 1 train per hour during the day and connects Tavira with the twice daily Faro-Lisbon express. The Spanish border is 20 minutes away, while Seville is 90 minutes drive or a little longer by the twice daily express bus.
