The house looks towards the Sierra Gorda mountains, and the south facing private sun terrace gives 360º views of the village and surrounding countryside. The furnished sun terrace is not overlooked and affords stunning views of the Montes de Málaga and a birds-eye view of the Spanish way of life below. There is nowhere in the village better to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a satisfying day.
If you can tear yourself away from the view from the sun terrace, Trabuco is centrally located to allow easy access to the multitude of attractions Andalucia has to offer both locally and further afield.

Casa Lindo has been recently renovated in keeping with the traditionally built village houses with wooden shuttered windows and lies in the essentially Spanish sector of Trabuco. The property is arranged over three floors.
The ground floor lounge is newly furnished and has satellite colour TV with English stations, DVD and CD players and a selection of DVDs and CDs are provided. There are also books, board games and jigsaws for your use.
The fully fitted kitchen diner with microwave, toaster, oven and hob is accessed through the lounge and a handy cloakroom with toilet and wash basin completes the rooms on this floor.
Upstairs to the two bedrooms (one double and one twin); the double bedroom is at the front of the property with village and mountain views, the second room has full sized twin beds. On up to the main bathroom which has been newly renovated and comprised sink, toilet and a large walk in shower.
The washing machine is situated in the bathroom and there are clothes drying facilities on the sun terrace which is accessed along the landing. An iron and ironing board are close at hand.
The roof terrace is not overlooked and has stunning 360º views of the village, the Sierras and the surrounding countryside. An ideal location for al fresco dining or secluded sun bathing! We think this sunny spot has the best views of any house in the village, and it will give hours of entertainment looking at the panoramic aspect of the entire village, with a birds-eye vista of the Spanish life below. At night with a drink of your choice there is no place in the village which affords better views with such seclusion.

Local activities in and around Villanueva Del Trabuco, Costa del Sol - Malaga
In the house there are comprehensive guidebooks and information on all the local attractions, included in the guides are opening times of popular places to visit.
Gibraltar with its duty free shopping is less than a two hour drive away, and Portugal can be reached in four hours.
Nearer to home Granada (45 miles), Seville (110 miles), Jaen (120 miles) and Cordoba (100 miles)attract many tourists if they are strong enough to tear themselves away from the tiny white villages of Andalucia waiting to seduce the unsuspecting travellers whilst sightseeing in the area. The autovias in the Andalucia area are well maintained and well signposted and there is a complimentary road map of the region supplied along with a street map of the village in the house.
The Sierra Nevada mountains are only an hour away and can be seen as a glorious backdrop to Granada, visit in the winter and early spring for a snowball fight in the sunshine or in late spring early summer for breathtaking views and mountain flowers - an attraction at any time of the year.
Visit Jerez and be educated in the bodegas where sherry is still made today in the traditional way by household names like Gonzalez Byass, Sandeman & Harveys (and learn that there's more to do with it than putting it in your Christmas trifle!).
The village offers many good restaurants and bars. There are shops on almost every street selling everything you could need to make your holiday complete (even a tiny British shop for those essential tea-bags). There are also banks, hairdressers and barbers shops (where the men can experience a wet shave with a cut-throat razor!) within the village as well as an internet café to keep in touch with family and friends.
The recently rebuilt swimming pool is less than a 5 minute walk from the house, it is set in beautiful surroundings with stunning views. The pool bar/ restaurant offers a great menu of snacks & meals at excellent prices.

Rental Notes: Changeover can be any day you choose to make your flight times convenient and a welcome pack will be at the house ready for your arrival.
Flights have recently started connecting the UK to Granada airport which gives an alternative to Málaga. Airport transfers can be arranged for those people not wanting to drive.
Unfortunately due to the terraced aspect of the village the property is not suitable for the disabled.
On your arrival you will find that all-important map of the village along with a road map of the area. In addition to the village internet cafe, we can also arrange occasional internet access at our home should you require to keep in touch with family or to book tickets (e.g. for the Alhambra Palace which gets very busy in summer).
