Markets, festivals (dancing, music, singing etc), sporting events and other activities make Ceret a bustling town.
From the parking, steps lead down to a large well equipped terrace with barbecue, garden furniture and parasol and which leads to the front door. Entrance hall: Catalan style open fireplace, bookshelves and books, marble-topped side table with general information. Large sitting/dining room: one end has leather sofas, coffee tables etc. The other end, in front of the window with satellite TV/Video, Hi-Fi, bar with bar stools, sideboard, rustic dining table and chairs to seat 8. This room has 3 windows making the room very light.
Newly-fitted, well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room leads from the hallway. With all modern facilities. beamed ceiling. Children's high chair.

2 Bedrooms have a double bed, bedside tables and lamps, bedside rugs, easy chair, dressing table and double wardrobe. beamed ceilings with windows overlooking the land.
Bedroom 3 is dual purpose for children or adults: single bed, bunk beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, rug and some children's facilities. Portable cots can be accommodated in any bedroom.
Bathroom: corner bath with shower over, wc, bidet, handbasin - all modern. Baby bath/changing table with shelves. A window with shutter gives both natural light and privacy.
The majority of the walls in the bedrooms have kept their well restored 'ancien' stone character. Throughout the house, both ground and first floor, the floors are covered with old or new tiles.
All the windows are equipped with shutters except two which have curtains.

Rental Notes: Generally the changeover days are on Saturday. Other days of the week can be arranged with negotiation and modification of the price.
Electricity and hot and cold water are included in the high season as long as the stay is not over 3 weeks. For longer periods and winter lets, electricity will be charged by caretaker meter readings on arrival and departure.
Bed linen and towels can be provided for a nominal charge.
The caretaker cleans the house prior to arrival and she expects to receive it back in the same condition.
For firm bookings: part rental required. A contract will be sent with acknowledgement of the payment. The signed contract, full rental payment and a damages and breakages deposit should be received six weeks prior to arrival.
The details of the caretaker (name and phone numbers) will be forwarded to you. Holiday makers are required to contact the caretaker one hour prior to their arrival so she can welcome you to Les Rosiersand give you the keys.
