Residenza Sinibaldi is a characteristic XVIII century farmhouse with a wide private garden and swimming pool. The Residenza is located in a quite hilly area near Perugia at the border with Tuscany-Florence and Lazio-Rome.
The Villa is divided in very large apartments with all modern amenities: 2 apartments are reserved to the guests, 1 apt. is occupied by the owners. The Residenza is perfect to relax and apartments were restored in compliance with the architectural style typical of the countryside of Umbria. There are all original elements such ancient stones, wooden beams, but also furniture combined with style and modern comfort.
The Residenza is located in a quite hilly area in the centre of Umbria near the main Umbrian cities and at the border with Tuscany and Lazio. The Villa is a strategical place for those willing to comfortably visit the most important Umbrian and Central Italian art cities and it is an ideal base to discover nature, touring and Italian food.
Residenza Sinibaldi is a comfortable and very spacious farmhouse set on a hilly position (262 a.s.l.) in S. Biagio della Valle - 8 Kilometers from Perugia.
The large fenced park (about 3000 square metres) with lawn, olive trees, flowers and all kind of plants, fruit trees, maintained personally by the owner, is also made available to guests to make more comfortable on vacation. The owners have pets. A large outdoor pool for private use is available throughout the summer season. There is a children' playground with a beautiful trampoline
The apartment "Cielo" accommodates max 6 people (90 square meters) is located on the second floor of the farmhouse; the apartment is autonomous with the second common exit to the garden. It has a furnished kitchen, a wide living-room, 2 large bedrooms (18 and 24 square meters respectively) and a wide bathroom.
The apartment "Terra" accommodates max 4 people (80 square meters) is located on the ground floor of the farmhouse; the apartment is autonomous. The apartment is an ancient open-space of the farmhouse and it has a furnished kitchen, a wide living-room with beds for 4 people and a wide bathroom. All the works are new and the apartments are in excellent condition. The furnitures are simple and welcoming.
In the little village you could see the circular tower of an ancient castle and the bell-tower of a romanic church; you could admire the Portal of this church in S.Peter’s Monastery in Perugia too. Around the country road from San Biagio della Valle to Perugia you could see a great wood called "Bosco della Caccia" (Hunting Wood).
The major riches of the area are the cultivation of olive, wine, sunflower and wheat but even the simple and tasty foods, excellent wines and oils. You could taste the tipical umbrian food in many restaurants or trattorias or in a lot of village feasts like Village Feast of strawberry in San Biagio.

Assisi (27 km) the Francesco’s City and its medieval festival called “Calendimaggio”; Todi (28 km) described as 'the perfect city'; Spoleto (40 km) where the “Festival of Two Worlds” takes place; Gubbio (40 km) where the “Corsa dei Ceri” takes place; Foligno (40 km) with the “Giostra della Quintana”; Orvieto (50 km) with its Cathedral and the famous San Patrizio's well, and Lago Trasimeno the fourth largest lake in Italy (17 Km) with 3 splendid islands.
Excursions to Florence- 120 kms, Rome- 125 kms, Siena- 83 kms, Arezzo- 61 kms are also possible. You may reach these by car, however we suggest a train ride of 1 - 1 ½ hours, which is safe, comfortable, and stress free. The thermal baths - minimum 30 kilometers, the sea at Maremma or Adriatic Sea (125 kilometers) are also an excellent day out from here; however a car is essential.
