Welcome to Hirondelle Farm, the ultimate in French holiday homes.
If you are looking for a really clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped holiday home in France, you have found it! This beautifully restored barn formerly the stable, provides accommodation for up to 4 people.
Set in the beautiful Western Loire only 6Km from the walled historic town of Chateaubriant, Hirondelle Farm nestles in the hamlet of Le Perray surrounded by peaceful fields of corn-on-the-cob and sunflowers.
Hirondelle Farm is owned by Dave and Doreen Joyner, formerly of Bournemouth, UK. Dave now runs "Splinters" a complete renovation company. Whilst, Doreen, being an expert on holiday homes and all things French, is a regular guest on Jeremy Vine's Radio 2 programme on the BBC.

2 carpeted bedrooms, both 2.85 x 4.5 metres, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. Bedside cabinets, dressing tables and wardrobes in both rooms.
Garden including furniture and a BBQ. Plus space for badminton and free bicycle loan!

Leaving Soudan, the Chere hugs Chateaubriant castle ramparts, bathes the Tertre below the charming town of St Aubin des Chateaux, rests in Hunaudiere Lake, site of the old forges, livens up the Pont mill, still working, crosses the town of Mouais and continues on to Grand-Fougeray.
From St Julien de Vouvantes to Nozay, going through Moisdon and Jans, the Don valley offers rich and varied panoramas and pleasant scenery.
Between Loire-Atlantique and Ille-et-Vilaine, the Semnon meanders from Ferce to Soulvache, to the superb bridge at the foot of St Fiace Chapel.

Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Iron. Beautiful custom built kitchen. We supply a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, water and a bottle of wine to all our guests.

Real Fire, House Linen, Towels Provided. Prices include all bed linen, crisp cotton sheets and fluffy hand and bath towels, gas for cooking and water.

Seating for 6. Old farmhouse table and six chairs.

Terrestrial TV, Video, Radio, CD System, Board Games. There are lots of books, board games,CDs and videos in the Stable. The man made beach at Lake Vioreau is only 20 minutes away!

L Domaine de la Roche - In the hollow of a wooded 22 hectare domaine, an exceptional site.
The local tourist office in Chateaubriant has a brochure "50 ideas for a summer" packed full of info on fetes, markets, sports, music, concerts, arts etc.
