The rear of the property overlooks the River Segura and beyond.
This apartment is suited for families and couple alike, for a beach holiday or exploring the typically Spanish town of Guardamar which is steeped in history right down to the castle ruin and archaeological site .

The living space features two sofas, one being a sofabed with slide out, fully sprung mattress if an extra bed is needed. Flat screen TV with english satellite channels, DVD player (DVD selection available for your entertainment) and stereo (MP3 compatible).
The dining table seats 4 but extends to seat 6 using patio chairs.
The separate fitted kitchen is very well equipped, perfect for cooking on those evenings in with fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, hob, kettle, toaster ,and iron.
Through a door from the kitchen is a utility area where the washing machine is housed. Also in this space are inflatables with pump, sun chairs, parasol, airer, additional washing line and buckets and spades! Views over the River Segura.
The master bedroom with en-suite shower room for a little added luxury, features a double bed, built in double wardrobe with shelving and hanging space, safety deposit box, 2 bedside tables and a chest of drawers. Views over pine forest and pool.
The second bedroom has twin beds, double built in wardrobe with shelves and hanging space, bedside table and has views over the pine forest and pool.
The third bedroom has a single bed, bedside table and floor standing wardrobe with shelf. Bed rail also available if needed. Views over the River Segura
The family bathroom consists of a full size bath with shower over, bidet, toilet and large wash basin with lit mirror over. Plenty of towels provided .
The large , furnished, glass enclosed balcony looks out over the pool and pine forests, and offers a fantastic sea view.
The apartments are secure and gated, with access to the car park only with an electronic key. Video intercom system in use to 'buzz' each apartment if the need arises.
The pool gently shelves down to a depth of 2 metres. Separate shallow childrens area.

Local activities in and around Guardamar Del Segura, Costa Blanca - Alicante
The history of Guardamar extends back over centuries, in fact it's very existance today, after the earthquake of 1829 is due to the planting of the pine and eucalyptus trees to prevent the town being buried by the 'flying sands' - hence the origin of the dunes. You can still visit the castle ruin today, which was devastated in the earthquake. This is also an archaeological site.
Due to the vast salt lakes around this area, the humidity level is very low hence the air quality is excellent, coupled with the scent of the pine forest and eucalyptus trees - and of course the sea air!
The blue flag beaches running a staggering 12 km - along the whole length of Guardamar, with their golden sands, makes this an ideal beach holiday. The promenade runs along central beach where you will find many restaurants and bars.
Market day is on a Wednesday, situated behind the church on the square. It features over 400 stalls in the summer - something for everyone!
There are two parks in Guardamar - the Alfonso XIII (pine forest) which is ideal for a leisurely, shaded stroll, and the Parque Reina Sofia which has an extensive childrens play area in the shade of the trees, cascading waterfalls, winding paths, and is the home to peacocks, ducks, swans and terrapins!
Guardamar really comes alive at night with a lit market running the length of the Sofia park, selling local crafts etc. From May to October this is also the site of a funfair/trampolines/air hockey table and stalls to amuse the children. A train runs around the town from here to show the sights.
The Marina de las Dunas is all you will need if you like windsurfing,scuba diving, water skiing as courses are held here. This is a short distance from the apartment.
If out and about the nearest large town is Torrevieja - 10 minutes drive- the place where the water park Aquapolies, Habaneras Shopping centre, bowling, cinema and a wealth of restaurants are found before reaching the town.
From Alicante Airport, follow the N332 south towards Cartagena. thie distance is 35 kms - 25 minutes drive . If hiring a car, more accurate directions can be sent to you as to exact location.
