Local activities in and around Costa Teguise, Lanzarote
Timanfaya National Park provides the opportunity of taking a camel ride through dramatic volcanic terrain of the Fire Mountain.
Cueva de los Verdes, is a network of underground caves with the longest volcanic tunnel in the world. There is a wonderful optical illusion at the end of the hour long guided tour.
Sunday market in Teguise starts at 9am, it bustles with activity and anyone who enjoys a good barter is guaranteed one here!
Lanzarote's only water park is situated just outside of Costa Teguise.

At just over 600m this is the longest stretch of beach in Costa Teguise. It is at the heart of the resort, easy to get to and as such has all the facilities you will need. Playa Las Cucharas is very popular among the local (and visiting) windsurf population.
Shopping - like most purpose built resorts, there is no shortage of shops aimed at the tourist sector, with plenty of Jewellers, Discount Electrical Stores and general gift shops, with most budgets and tastes being catered for.
There are plenty of smaller supermarkets within the resort. These stores generally stock a good range of international produce.
Costa Teguise Night Life: Like most of the resorts on the island, Costa Teguise nightlife could be classed as lively but not rowdy. Restaurants are open until late and there is a good selection of bars, both British and local style, in the resort.
Arrecife airport is approximately 10 Kilometres from the apartment and a taxi transfer will take around 20 minutes and cost approximately 20 Euros.

Rental Notes: Please note the weekly rates are for the studio and NOT per person Deposit required to secure booking is £50 per week with the balance being due 8 weeks before arrival. The keys to the studio are held in the resort. We are flexible with changeover days. You may check into the studio at 2pm on the day of your arrival and we will require you to check out at 10am on day of departure although this can be flexible depending on bookings. Flights from major UK airports are generally on Thursdays and Sundays. Linen and towels are provided for internal use. The towels with be changed on day 3 or 4 of a 7 day break.
A maid service can be arranged for an extra cost alternatively there are cleaning items provided within the villa. The studio will be fully cleaned before arrival. Utility costs included in rental charges. Saftey deposit box situated in the studio.
