Local activities in and around Fethiye, Turquoise Coast/Lycia
There are local shops close by within walking distance for basic supplies. Green Valley complex is a 5-10 minute bus journey to Fethiye town. It takes around five minutes to walk to the main road for local bus services to Fethiye and Calis, or in the opposite direction the lively resorts of Hisaronu and Oludeniz and the ghost village of Kayakoy.
Fethiye is a bustling harbour town with a local market every Tuesday, many shops and restaurants. The famous Oludeniz beach and blue lagoon are definately worth a visit. Pass through Hisaronu and Ovacik on the way. Also within easy reach is Calis. Calis has a long beach, promenade, shops, restaurants and bars.
Try one of the many excursions on offer from boat trips to the mud baths at Dalyan, jeep safari to see the real Turkey, two day trip to Ephesus/Pamukkale, paragliding, scuba diving and horse riding.
We also recommend a Turkish Bath at the beginning of your holiday to make your tan last longer. There is so much to do in the area and you won't be disappointed.

There is lots to do in the area including boat trips, mud baths at Dalyan, Turkish Bath, jeep safari, tlos/saklikent, ephesus/pamukkale, paragliding, horse riding and scuba diving. Hire a car to travel around independently.

Beaches in the area
Oludeniz beach and the blue lagoon are the most famous beaches. The lagoon is a protected area and a small charge is payable for entry. Calis Beach is around 8km long and Patara Beach is 16km long. Patara Beach is where you visit on a jeep safari. Also Gemiler beach is worth a vist and you head towards Kayakoy, the Ghost village, and then takes around 10 minutes.
Dalaman is the nearest airport and 55 km from Dalaman to Fethiye. Transfer time is around 50 minutes.

A fully refundable security deposit of 100 GBP to cover breakages, etc. is payable on arrival in Turkey.
