The property is situated just outside the village. The front of the house looks over orange and lemon groves to a panoramic view of the local mountains, whilst the rear view looks over farmland with fruit trees towards the beaches at Guardamar.
In the village there are many bars and restaurants serving local cuisine, bakery, supermarket, butchers, chemist and doctors surgery, and two banks with cashpoint facilities. There is a local market on Tuesdays.
There are two hospitals in the area, the closest is 15 minutes away at Orihuela the other one is on the coast towards Torrevieja about 30 minutes away.
There are carnivals and fiestas going on all year round, but the main ones are at Easter, September and Christmas.

Local activities in and around Alicante, Costa Blanca - Alicante
Guardamar with its long sandy beaches and dunes just 12km away, from here you can explore the numerous beaches dotted along the coast. To the south you have Torrevieja (20 Min) with its large promenade, beaches, nightlife and port, Campoamor (40 Min) with beaches and fish restaurants. To the north there is La Marina and Sta Pola. Daily boat trips are available to Tabarca Island from either Sta Pola or Torrevieja.
City: Alicante (30 Min), Murcia (45 Min) and Cartagena (60 Min) are all within easy reach via the AP7 motorway and all are worth a visit. A little further away are Benidorm and Valencia. This year Valencia is hosting the European GP.
Inland: Just a 60 minute drive away you have the world famous wine areas of Jumilla and Yecla. If you drive inland from Benidorm you will come to the picturesque town of Guadalest with its ancient town built inside the hillside. If you like castles you are spoilt for choice with most being open all year round.
Golf: There are numerous golf courses in the area, three of which are less than 15 minutes away, the closest being La Marquesa golf course at Rojales, the other two are La Finca at Algorfa and Albatera Golf & Country Club. 30 minutes away you have Villamartin, Campoamor and La Ramblas.
Shopping: There are numerous supermarkets and shops in the area catering for all your needs.
From Alicante Airport Take AP7 to Murcia, Then AP7 Cartagena, Take exit to Dolores, then Daya Nueva, Past the town hall turn right into Avda Almoradi after about 1km the house is on the left.

Rental Notes: Changeover times are normally Saturdays. But to take advantage of midweek flights, changeover dates can be flexible, dependant on other bookings.
