Our townhouse is close to two tube stations, Maida Vale and Warwick Road, from which you can get anywhere in Central London with ease. For example, Oxford Circus, London's shopping mecca, is a ten-minute tube ride. Piccadilly Circus, the center of the theater district, is a twelve-minute ride. The Number 6 bus, which runs 24 hours, stops a block from our residence. It has the best route in the City - stops at Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus, and Trafalgar Square, among others. We provide you our guide to the London sites, with travel advice that will put the city in your palm. Whether you spend your days navigating the crowds on Oxford Street, touring Westminster Abbey, or awed by the Tower of London, you will welcome returning to our quiet oasis.

Our house: We looked for over a year at more than 50 residences to find the perfect home base to explore London and its surrounds. This is it.
Enter the separate front door of our spacious Edwardian townhouse, walk up the interior stairway, and welcome to a private world. The reception room has three large windows and classic features marking the style of the late 1800s: nine-foot ceilings, crown molding, crystal chandeliers, and a fireplace. It has a sofa bed for guests. The separate dining room, with a single sofa bed, is a great place to dine and laze. The eat-in kitchen has Bosch appliances, a washer, and a dryer. The two bedrooms, on the upper floor, are large, light, and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is vast, with a tub, shower, and bidet. We provide internet access and cable television. From our home phone, all calls to the U.S., as well as calls to land lines in the U.K. are free. We also provide you with an English cell phone.
Our neighborhood: Maida Vale is one of the upscale neighborhoods in central London. Our street hosts shops, restaurants and delis. Paddington Recreation Grounds is one block away. This large park has children's playgrounds, a newly equipped gym, and running track. Little Venice, with its canals, quaint pubs, and notable white Georgian architecture, is an eight-minute walk. And a little further afield are the trendy restaurants of Notting Hill as well as the numerous Arabic restaurants of Edgeware Road.
