Local activities in and around Croyde, South West
There's a great sandy beach right here in Croyde and others nearby. Surf hire and lessons, Horse-riding and the Cascades leisure pool are all available here in the village. Passing through Croyde is the South West Coast Path for wonderful walks. There's also sea fishing off the rocks and Golf just a few minutes away at the famous links course at Saunton. Also at Saunton there's wind- and kite-surfing.
Further afield there are dozens of activities and places to visit all over North Devon and beyond. Exmoor, Dartmoor, the Eden Project, and the National Marine Aquarium, for example, are all within day-out distance.
We always keep plenty of leaflets at Santolina so you'll have plenty of ideas where to go. If you've any particular interests, just let us know in advance and we'll raid the Tourist Information Centre for you.
