This traditional stone rendered Italian apartment is situated on a hill just below the medieval borgo of Collelungo. The apartment has many rustic features such as cotto floor tiles, chestnut beams and wooden shutters. With stunning views that look across the Tiber Valley, every window has it's own unique vista.
From "La Rosa" you are in an ideal location to reach many of the fabulous hilltop towns such as Orvieto, Assisi, Todi, Spoleto, the city of Perugia is just a 30 minute drive by car, and Italy's fourth largest lake, Lake Trasimeno is also nearby.
Enter the apartment from you own private external stone staircase, through a large wooden door which takes you directly into the kitchen / dinning area. The kitchen offers a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and large fridge-freezer. There are two sofa's, one being a sofa bed, and a dinning table with chairs. There is a large storage cupboard and a lovely wood burning stove. There is connection for the Internet in this room. Hidden in another storage area is a washing machine. On the same level you will find 1 double room and a storage room. The rooms are all spacious, and the double room has a large antique wardrobe. The bathroom has a shower, bd, wc and sink.
Access the master bedroom via a wrought iron spiral staircase. This room is furnished with a double bed, large antique wardrobe, desk with chairs, and there is also a seating area with sofa.
Mauro, Maddalena and their daughter Elena live in the house below. If you would like to sample some amazing home cooked Umbrian cuisine, then Maddalena can prepare evening meals or lunches for you. (at an extra cost per person), the fresh pizza's baked in her outside wood -burning pizza oven are absolutely delicious !

Garden, BBQ, Parking, Balcony, Garden Furniture. Up in the hills is a little town called San Venanzo, here there is a lovely public swimming pool, also in Marsciano is a very large pool with a slide. A country club nearby also has a pool.

Local activities in and around Marsciano, Umbria
Just 10 mintues drive away is Monte Castello Di Vibio, a stunning hilltop borgo with the world's smallest theatre. Guests can find horse-riding, truffle hunting, wine tasting, angling in the vicinity.
Go to Deruta - world famous for it's production of ceramics, here you can visit a ceramic museum, as well as carrying out "retail therapy". In Marsciano there is a brick/stone Museum.
Dont miss a visit to Orvieto, with it's amazing cathedral and of course the area's famous wine.
From Perugia Airport, follow the signs for "Rome" E45. Take the Marsciano exit and head for the centre. From here take the road directly to Collelungo. Collelungo is about a 30 min drive from airport.
