Local activities in and around Triquivijate, Fuerteventura
There are restaurants, bars and a local grocery shop in the village. Riding stables also availble within walking distance, there is a cultural centre across from the villa with yoga etc. Check on your arrival for current activities. Fiestas in Triquivijate are 15th may and 2nd sunday in august 2008
Calete De Fuste resort is just a 15 minute drive away and there are restaurants and shops to suit everybody there and the kids will love the beach there. Diving and fishing excursions can be booked from the marina.
There is a great waterpark for all the family at Corralejo and a ferry runs regularly from Corralejo to Playa Blanca in Lanzarote
Fuerteventuras climate has temps ranging from 21 to 28 degrees. There are mountain views for you to discover beaches on the island are great for surfing and other water activities. Oasis park in La Lajita has a wildlife park, camel riding and a vast garden centre with a great souvenir shop well worth a visit.
