French doors open out onto a spacious terrace with garden furniture providing a pleasant area to enjoy a meal alfresco on warmer days. Ideal as well for shorter breaks during the colder months, the cottage is cosy and comfortable with some exposed stone, beams and open fire to snuggle up by. (Gas central heating also provided.)
If you enjoy a meal out you are spoiled for choice with a wide variety of excellent places to eat within a 5 or 10 minute drive, while the nearest pubs are just over a mile at Blockley, Paxford and Bourton on the Hill. (All recommended for meals.) Walkers will appreciate a variety of footpaths leading from the cottage to neighbouring villages taking you through some delightful countryside well away from busy roads.
If you are hoping to explore, the village is very conveniently situated for the whole Cotswold region and also Stratford on Avon with its theatres, river, many Shakespeare attractions and a host of quality shops.
Chipping Campden, Broadway, Stow on the Wold and their wide variety of shops and places to eat are within 10-15 min’s drive. Cheltenham, Oxford, Cirencester all within easy reach while the beautiful city of Bath, situated at the end of the Cotswold Way, makes a wonderful day out. Birmingham airport approx an hour’s drive.

Batsford Arboretum, Falconry and cafe just few minutes drive or pleasant country walk for the active among us. Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace, Oxford with its beautiful architecture & Sudeley Castle within an hour's drive. While the stunning city of Bath is at the far end of the Cotswolds, approx 100 miles and well worth a visit.
