Your perfect vacation rental house, centrally located, yet tranquil & spacious enough for all your needs. A period stone town house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bath/shower rooms & cloakroom, located in the stunning 'must see' Medieval town of Sarlat.
A small town of exceptional beauty with it's narrow winding streets, stone roofs & Benedictine Abbey; you will be mesmerised by over 1000 years of art & architecture at every turn. From this Sarlat holiday rental villa, with it's south facing terrace, pool & tranquil garden, you will be able to stroll to the shops & gourmet restaurants; visit the street markets & food hall, or indulge in the Cafe Culture & watch the world pass by. Sarlat itself offers many free attractions, including fireworks, acrobats, musicians, clowns, art exhibitions & concerts. Or why not just sit on the terrace with a glass of wine & watch the locals play Petanque, or even join in & have a go yourself!!!
Very comfortable living room with British Satelite
A lovely turn of the century town house with high ceilings, fireplaces & period coving all in light & airy rooms with a south aspect. The house has antique pine & chestnut floors throughout & has been totally renovated for 2008, with all new kitchen & bathroom fittings. It has been decorated in a sympathetic period style using soft tones from Farrow & Ball paints.
There is a fully fitted kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob & electric oven. There is also a kettle, toaster & a coffee percolator. The kitchen leads out onto the terraces, pool (6.5x4 m) & garden complete with flowers & trees for sunny or shaded relaxation. There are ample chairs & sun loungers for your enjoyment.
The beautiful living room has two very comfortable sofas, with the original fireplace, south & east facing windows & British Satelite TV.
On the ground floor there is also a very useful cloackroom toilet.
The first floor Master Bedroom has a new Kingsize 160cm bed with an ensuite shower room. Across the hall from this room is the Twin Bedroom which also has new single beds. If preferred these beds can be put together to make a Kingsize bed.
On the second floor is the third Bedroom, this room has a single bed that converts to a comfortable large double 160cm bed. Please note that this room has a reduced height doorway of approx. 5 feet. On this floor there is also a Family Bathroom with a shower over the bath.
All the beds will be made up for your arrival with white cotton bed sheets & feather duvets. We also provide you with one large & one small bathroom towel plus a pool towel per person during the summer. A change of bed linens & towels is provided each week for longer stays.
To the front of the house there is a Petanque pitch with games played most afternoons for you to watch or why not join in the fun. There is a set of Boules in the house.
There is a secure garage for bikes & ample free parking at the house.

2 Double Bedrooms, 1 Twin Bedroom. There are 3 bedrooms in this house - 1 king, 1 twin & 1 single room. However, the single bed does convert to a comfortable kingsize bed so it is possible to sleep 6 people in this house at a squeeze!!

Seating for 6. There is a dining table inside for 6 people, or you can choose either a shaded or sunny terrace outside for meals al fresco overlooking the garden or Boules pitch.
Entertainment:
Satellite TV, Radio, Board Games. To the front of the house is the ground for the Sarlat Petanque Club & matches are played most afternoons throughout the year. There is a set of Boules for you in the house to join in the fun.
Outside:
Private Pool, Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. The pool measures 6.5 x 4 metres and is one depth at approx. 1.3m

The beautiful Medieval town of Sarlat is the top period film location destination in France & has over 1.5m visitors pa. This rental house is perfectly situated within the Dordogne & allows you to visit the nearby attractions very easily; the famous prehistoric cave paintings at Lascaux, Rocamadour, the Vezere Valley with its many Stone Age relics, troglodyte houses & caves dating from 20,000 years ago or the Dordogne river.
You might like to visit the vineyards of Bergerac & St.Emilion, or go Hot Air Ballooning & see the 1001 Castles & Chateaux by air; experience one of the many Gourmet restaurants in Sarlat, or sit in the street Cafes & watch the world go by. It is all here for you to do, whether its drifting down the Dordogne river in a canoe or eating in a Michelin restaurant.
