The apartment is within the immensely popular Port Guillaume, a fabulous marina on the mouth of the Dives estuary. A stroll through the marina and you are presented with a quaint selection of shops consisiting of a poissonerrie, small grocers and the local marina boulangerie, selling the most freshest of baguettes, pain, croissant and pain au chocolat what a great way to start the day.
Across the Dives estuary via a footbridge you will be strolling along the promenade of the nearby resort of Cabourg and the sea front. The town consists of the imposing Grand Hotel and a walk through the popular Avenue de la mer which consists of fine shopping, wining and dining.
Places of interest nearby to the west, we have the D day landing beaches,Caen and Bayeaux, and to the east of the area you will find Deauville for shopping and the historic port of Honfleur.
