Just added to our portfolio for this season is this delightful bungalow that is located a short way up West Looe Hill past a charming array of pretty white washed cottages. The cottage is set back from the road and has a small patio garden to the front with garden furniture provided so you can soak up the sun or enjoy a glass of wine or bar-b-q on a balmy summers evening. Inside the cottage offers one bedroom with twin beds, dressing table, chest of drawers and wardrobe. Bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Lounge/diner with a double bed settee. tv with built in dvd and a music center. There is a well fitted galley style kitchen with a gas cooker with high level grill, microwave and fridge/freezer. A covered in utility outhouse houses the washing machine and is ideal for hanging up wet beach towels!
West Looe offers a superb Londis convenience store which sells good local produce, a spar shop that stays open late, hairdressers, butcher and flower shop. there are various tea shops for an indulgent cream tea! The Jolly Sailor Pub (reputedley the oldest pub in Looe) is about 200yds away.
There are numerous other pubs, restaurants and hotels close by for lunches or evening meals. The little foot ferry (tidal) chugs across the harbour all day in season transporting you over to East Looe where you will find a more comprehensive range of shops, more pubs and restaurants and the popular sandy family beach.
When the ferry is not operating then it is only a 10 min walk to the other side over the bridge. There is an allocated parking space to Bluebell which is located in a privately owned car park towards the top of West Looe Hill, but it is possible to stop for a few moments outside the cottage to unload your vehicle.
