Excellent position for all outdoor activities. Recently renovated 3 level family house with stunning alpine views from the garden & patio.
Provides accommodation for up to 12 persons. We renovated the house to provide flexible accommodation. We can rent the whole house, part of the house, or use each floor as separate self-contained apartments.

The house is in the village of Ribno, just 2 km from magical Lake Bled. Near to all the amenities yet a quiet haven to return to after an active day out. Modern kitchen with 4 ring hob,oven, dishwasher & fridge-freezer. Satellite TV, DVD player and internet access. 4 bedrooms, 3 sitting rooms, 3 shower rooms. Gazebo/summerhouse for outdoor eating.
Surrounded by picturesque views and superb walking country in an area with abundant summer and winter activities for the whole family. Try swimming in Lake Bled in summer, skiing nearby in winter, or biking, fishing, canyoning, golf, mountaineering etc.
There are 4 ski resorts within 30 minutes drive. This beautiful country offers many sightseeing opportunities including those around the Julian Alps, the famous Triglav National Park and of course the enchanting capital Ljubljana.
Lake Bled is surrounded by mountains, has an island you can visit by pletna to explore its 17th century church (or get married!). A medieval castle sits on a rock high above the lake. Bled has a large choice of bars, restaurants, coffee bars (serving delicious cakes!) and many boutiques and gift shops in addition to supermarkets and other food shops. Situated near to the motorway system, Bled is within easy reach of all areas of Slovenia.

Bled is a fantastic outdoor centre, offering numerous activities or alternatively a quite relaxed holiday amidst beautiful scenery.#
The Vintner Gorge, an extremely poplular tourist sight 4km from bled is 1.6 km long and has waterfalls, rapids and pools. The Triglav national Park, encompassing the Slovenian part of the Julian Alps is one of the most beautiful areas of Slovenia.
The ski resort of Bled, part of the the Bohinj ski area (82 individual pistes), offers some of the most picturesque skiing in the world. The Straza ski area reached by chairlift from Bled's centre is best suited to beginners and early intermediates. A ski lift pass gives access to skiing and snowboarding in the other Bohinj ski resorts. A free ski bus takes you to the Vogel and Kobla ski areas on the slopes of Mount Triglav, where you can ski up to 1800m. Beginners can master techniques on Kobla before testing the wide open runs on Vogel's superb plateau. There are a variety of runs on Kobla and Vogel for intermediates. Vogel has an incredible 8.5 km run going over the back of the mountain and descending to the magnificant lakeside area below. Apres ski, nightlife in Bled is concentrated around the shopping centre and in the old part of the town where there are an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants. Bled has an ice-skating rink and there is skating on the lake if it freezes.

Rental Notes: It is possible to stay at Ribno without a car. The walk to Bled takes 20-25 minutes then the public transport system is good and coach excursions are available. For days out further afield, car hire is available in Bled.
A (non refundable) deposit of 300 euros is required to secure the booking. This can be paid in sterling into our UK bank account or in euros into our Slovenian account. The remainder is payable 28 days before the rental begins. A returnable security deposit of 100 euros is payable on arrival. Tourist tax of 1 euro per person per night is not included in the rent.
