Local activities in and around West Kensington, South East
West Kensington and Barons Court is primarily a residential area, perfect for a home away from home, but with all the comforts of a holiday apartment. The area consists mainly of terraced houses and serve as excellent examples of Victorian architecture, several houses and some entire streets are listed and in conversation areas.
It is also ideally situated for Earls Court & Olympia Exhibition Centres both a 10 to 15 minute walk or a short Bus or Tube journey away.
We have a excellent collection of Museums, Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History nearby
Parking is available locally via pay and display machines, charged between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Weekends, Bank Holidays and Evenings are free.
West Kensington has a good selection of local shop and amenities, small supermarkets, hairdressers, dry cleaners and also a 24 hour store open 365 days of the year, so you should be able to get essential supplies when required.
Nearby Hammersmith, Fulham Broadway and Kensington High Street are ideal shopping areas, however if Harrods or Oxford Street is more to your taste, they are only a short Tube journey away.
West Kensington offers a diverse range of Restaurants in keeping with London's diverse culture. Chinese, Indian, Greek, American, Turkish and Vegetarian are a few in the nearby area, and nearby Earls Court offers many more culinary delights.
The most famous Pub in West Kensington is surely The Famous Three Kings, although recently it has become a sports orientated pub, that said it is a lively venue on the weekends, and has done well to maintain a pub feel. For a more secluded drink The Curtains Up offers a private and cosy atmosphere, serving food and even with an upstairs theatre, only five minutes away. Clubs are all around you, with China Whites in High Street Kensington, and other local haunts in Fulham Broadway and Hammersmith that will serve you well, and of course Central London is only a Tube journey away.
Our Apartments are a two minute walk from West Kensington and Five Minutes from Barons Court Tube Station, West Kensington is closer, however Barons Court is serviced with a direct tube link from LHR
