The fishing port of Garrucha is only 5 minutes drive and has many shops and restaurants including many fabulous fish restaurants and a busy market every Friday. The beaches of Garrucha and Vera Playa stretch for miles and are cleaned daily in the summer season, many are monitored by lifeguards. The championship golf resort, Valle del Este, is only 20 minutes drive and the now famous Desert Springs golf resort is just 10 minutes drive. Marina Golf at Mojacar Playa is only 10 minutes drive and Cortijo Grande is about 20 minutes away.
Al Andalus is approximately 45 minutes from Almeria airport and 2 hours from Alicante and Murcia airports.
