The province of Almeria is the driest in the Spain, and boasts more than 300 days of sun a year. On the south eastern tip lies Roquetas de Mar – only 30 mins from Almeria airport and offering a wide variety of holiday experiences.
The apartment is in a building situated in the newly developed 'Las Salinas' area of Roquetas de Mar, and is suitable for both summer and winter lets. The apartment has centralised air conditioning and central heating, and is fully finished to a high standard. The building has an all-year-round swimming pool - covered and heated in winter and open in the summer. There is a sauna, an exercise room and communal lounge and well as private entrance to a superb restaurant. The building has a reception desk which is manned 24 hours a day.
Las Salinas is a recent development just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Roquetas de Mar, with wide avenues, and low rise buildings. In the same avenue you will find a bakery, grocers, delicatessen, bars, restaurants, and the superb new theatre. 5 minutes away is the Gran Plaza shopping complex. The beach is 5 minutes walk away, and gentle stroll along the new promenade will bring you to the port of Roquetas with its fish restaurants, sea cruises, and summer concerts in the grounds of the old Castillo Santa Ana.
Further afield is the city of Almeria with its Moorish heritage and Alcazabar, the Punta Entinas nature reserve, the film studios where the ‘spaghetti westerns’ were made, and, if you fancy a slightly longer trip – the wonders of Granada and the Alhambra.
