This three bedroom holiday home is set in a peaceful location but close to Lesparre with all its amenities. It sleeps up to 6 (or 7) and is ideal for families and those who like a relaxing holiday but there is plenty to do in the surrounding area.
This is a modern home with a large garden, ideal for relaxing but just a short drive to some beautiful beaches and a bathing lake. In the centre of the Medoc wine growing region, the house is surrounded by vineyards and pine forests, ideal for walks or bike rides. There a are many charming villages to visit and and some beautiful wine growing estates and their stunning Chateaux.

Set on the edge of town, the house is in a peaceful but convenient location. There are shops and restaurants in the town centre but an enormous supermarket is just 10 minutes walk away. The house has all the comforts of a modern home yet is still very French in character.
The house has three bedrooms all with double beds and one with an additional single bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen including microwave and fridge -freezer. The living room and dining area have been recently decorated.
Outside there is an undercover dining area and a large garden, plenty of outside space.
The house is in an ideal location for those who want to get away from it all yet still have plenty to do during the day. The atlantic coast is 20 minutes away with its beautiful beaches.
Special rates are available for short stays and out of season.

Local activities in and around Lesparre-Médoc, Aquitaine/Dordogne
The house is less than an hour from Bordeaux airport and an hours drive to the City Centre where there is plenty to do and see.
The beaches are less than 20 minutes away in the car and the area is deal for surfing but there is also a calm lake which has a number of bathing and beach areas along its shore. Lesparre is not far form seaside towns, vineyards and wine producing villages along the Gironde Estuary. There is horse riding, fishing, bike riding, many country walks and areas to explore.
Lesparre is an ideal base to visit local villages but also Soulac, Le Verdon and its ferry to Royan and the activities in the Arcachon bassin.

10 mins by car - 12 Kms of beach, forests, picnic areas, walking and cycling tracks
This is a charming little town not far from Lesparre. It consists of Hourtin Ville, Hourtin Plage (on the coast) and Hourtin Lac. This is a fantastic bathing lake where you can get away from the waves of the Atlantic. There are a few restaurants in the town too.
A friendly seaside town to visit, offering water sports, horse riding and things for children. It is also accessible by train from Lesparre. It’s a nice place to stroll around.
The house is just off the N215 on the outskirts of Lesparre.

"We spent a lovely few days here in late May: the surrounding countryside was full of birds (cuckoos included) & we spent many evenings watching the sunset over a glass of wine on the terrace. The house was comfortable and spacious enough for the six of us & we played badminton in the big garden. Spent some time exploring the area on the owners bikes. Hourtin beach a little deserted but beautifully sandy. Bordeaux itself well worth a visit. All in all, would recommend for a peaceful get-away!" - Ms A Quin
