Located on a new devolpment on the edge of Beautiful and ancient Tavira town in the heart of the Ria Formosa nature reserve, the unspoilt Eastern Algarve really is the place to explore, Portugal at its best!
Located 30 mins from Faro airport and 20 minutes from the border with Spain. 10 mins walk, gets you to the Bars and Restaurants of this pictursque paradise, nearest bars and restaurants being within 5 minutes walk. Nearest supermarket 5 minutes walk. Quiet, white sandy beaches, gently sloping into the ocean.
Golf- Three courses within 10 minutes, the nearest being 5 minutes drive, many others close by. Food and drink in this region are still very cheap and, the quality of food is absolutely amazing.
Tavira straddles the river gilao with it's Roman built bridge, architecture here is amazing. there are plenty Restaurants,Bars,Cafes, and shops in town. There are two night clubs discretely placed on the outskirts of town so, the town retains its charm at night.
Our brand new for 2008, Large, luxuriously furnished apartment is, the ideal location for that get away from it all holiday or, a romantic short break in the sun.
There is a large lounge diner with comfortable sofa and double sofa bed (excellent quality), dining table, English satelite TV, cd and dvd players, Balcony.
Large American Kitchen with balcony has, absolutely everything you need for a self catering holiday, hob (3 gas rings and 1 electric) ,oven,fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, ashing machine, dish washer, cooker hood etc etc. Both bedrooms have twin beds and plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom has a hydromassage bath, shower over bath, wash basin, bidet, toilet. All rooms (except bathroom) have stunning views out over the Ria Formosa to the sea.
The private roof terrace is very spacious and, has four loungers,table and chairs with parasol and a bbq. There is a lift to all floors. Air conditioning is fitted and, is available at £30 extra per week.(the apartment is on the second floor and has doors on 2 sides which gives a good cooling breeze on those hot summers nights.

Local activities in and around Tavira, Eastern Algarve
Beaches in the area are of outstanding quality, most are island beaches, usually reached by cheap water taxi or small ferries (1 euro e/w) The beaches are beautiful white sand, gently sloping into the ocean, you can easily get to quiet secluded beaches or, the busier beaches with watersports etc.
Tavira is a historic working fishing town with a market once a month, there are loads of shops,Bars,Cafes, Restaurants etc, many bars,cafes and restaurants overlook the romantic setting along the riverside, serving up some of the best food in Europe at very reasonable prices, you have plenty of choice at any time of the day. Many of the churches and local buildings have fantastic architecture, the ancient Roman bridge offers itself as the centrepeice for this picturesque romantic town.
The Ria Formosa nature reserve is a haven for wildlife, flora and forna, the lagoons offer the perfect protected habitat for many species of birds, animals and flowers, great fishing too!
This area is ideal for walking, cycling or those leisurely drives inland to discover the tiny towns and villages of this time forgotton region.
Golf courses are in abundance on the Algarve and this area is no different, 3 courses within ten minutes and many more close by, full information available upon request.
Many of the nearby fishing villages offer the chance to sample, not only the fantastic seafood this area offers but, also, get a taste of the hospitality of the freindliest, most helpful people the world has to offer.
Why not take a drive 20 mins into Spain to the beautiful border town of Ayamonte, a trip here for Tapas lunch is not to be missed. (1 hr on in Spain!)
For those with children, there are water parks etc towards the west, nearer to the busier resorts of Albufeira and Villamoura, Zoomarine is an absolute must! a wildlife and entertainment park with Dolphin and sealion shows to keep the whole family entertained all day long, 40 minutes along the N125 at Guia.
Tavira is 30-35 minutes from Faro airport toward the Frontier with Spain the A22 travels the full length of the Algarve and is seldom busy. Full directions can be supplied upon booking.

Any rental duration is considered, we are also flexible on the changeover days, please ask!
There is a minimum rental period of three days with £35 short stay supplement.
Maid service is weekly and is included in the price.
A £100 refundable security and reservation deposit is required upon booking, this is refunded upon the satisfactory inspection by our property manger and, is usually repaid within one week of your departure.
The full rental fee is due 8 weeks prior to arrival, please see terms and conditions on our rental enquiry form available upon request.
Arrivals are not permitted before 1400hrs and departures are not later than 1100hrs. we can arrange for bags to be held in the apartment,please ask?
