Ait Elie can accommodate 6 guests. The state of the art kitchen has all the modern conveniences including integrated fridge freezer, integrated microwave, kettle, toaster and oven. There is an island in the middle of the kitchen with a sink.
The dining area leads off the kitchen in an open plan living arrangement. The dining area can seat 6 guests. A set of French doors leads off from the dining area taking one out to the expansive decking.
The main living area also leads off from the dining area. It has a lovely leather suite of furniture with 4 recliner seats. This room has a TV and DVD player. The living area also features an open fire. The house also features a cosy sun room. There is also a separate smaller sitting room.
The master bedroom is downstairs and features a king bed and ensuite with walk in shower and Jacuzzi bathtub!! A set of French doors also provide access to the decking surrounding the front of the house outside.
There is another separate WC also downstairs. Up the solid oak stairs, there is a mezzanine looking back down. Bedroom 2 upstairs also has a king bed with en suite Jacuzzi bath tub and an electric/power shower. Bedroom 3 is also upstairs has a king bed with Slipper bathtub and an electric/power shower. All of the bedrooms are very spacious and bright.
Decking is currently being built around the house. (May 08). There also is a large private enclosed garden outside the house.

Local activities in and around Skibbereen, South West
Glandore is a small fishing village that becomes alive during the Summer time. It has 3 well renowned restaurants and 4 lively pubs. The village is a well known picture on postcards of Ireland.
On the other side of the harbour is the village of Union Hall, fish caught on the day can be purschased from the fishing co op. Glandore has plenty to offer, Glandore beach is within 10 minutes walk from Ait Eile The yacht club offers sailing lessons during the Summer months.
Drombeg Stone circle is located just 2 miles from the house which dates back to 150 BC following archaeological excavation in the late 1950’s. Located in the heart of West Cork, day trips to the islands of Cape Clear, Sherkin and Heir Island are within 15 Km drive away to Baltimore where one would get the ferry.
