This spectacular and unspoilt area boasts endless activities for both winter and summer. Les Carroz is situated at 1250m. Part of the Grand Massif ski area, linked with Flaine, Morillon, Samoens and Sixt and boasts 265km of piste and one of Europes best snow records.
Les Carroz is full of character and charm, yet still provides almost every outdoor activity imaginable. There are numerous excellent restaurants, including bistros, goumet, traditional French savoyard and Pizzerias. A range of cafes, bars and shops cater for all your needs, many of which are located around the village square. There is a typical French market, French Deli and Chocolatiers, boulangeries, supermarket, cash points, doctors, chemist, cinema, creche, Lido, and ice skating rink situated outside the apartments (winter only). The tourist office puts on various entertainment in the village square for both adults and children throughout the year.

Children: Les Carroz is a family orientated resort and a very suitable base for holidaying with children. Nursery slopes for complete beginners are situated in the village.
Shopping: Local supermarket/Deli along with charcuterie and patisserie. There is also a local delicatessen which will provide pre prepared meals.
Ski School: There is a ski school in the station (ESF: Ecole de ski Francais) where children are most welcome and guides for off-piste skiing can be booked.
Other Local Actiivites within the village: Lido and indoor swimming pool, tennis, mini golf, ice skating, mountian biking and alpine walking. More extreme sports are also available, white water rafting, canyoning, canoeing, climbing, parapenting etc.
