This fully self-contained part of a delightful country house provides very comfortable accommodation for those seeking peace and quiet but with the bustling port of Looe nearby.
Stunning gardens and baby ducks at the front door are just some of the delights to greet you when you stay at Ducks Dive.
Forming a fully self-contained part of Seasons Country House the situation could hardly be bettered, nestling in a quiet & secluded valley with views over delightful gardens ,water features and trout stream.
Although a peaceful spot the bustling port of Looe with its fine sandy beach, harbour, shops and restaurants is only a ten minute drive and within a couple of hundred yards is a tiny halt where, on request, the Looe Valley branch line train will stop and take you into town. The Eden Project - definitely not to be missed - is only a half hour run in the car and from the accommodation there are super rural walks through this completely unspoilt corner of Cornwall.
The accommodation is tastefully furnished and arranged on two floors. The glazed front door gives access to the large open plan sitting/dining room/kitchen. Stairs from here lead to the delightful double bedroom, the single bedroom and the bathroom. There is also a very comfortable sofa bed available in the lounge for a fourth guests if needed.
Although completely independent of the main house, for a treat and having given prior notification, you might like to take dinner there and experience the fine cooking of the resident proprietors who specialise in locally caught fish and seafood.
Ducks Dive is a little gem in the most perfect spot for those with a love of the English countryside and with a taste for the finer things in life - come and enjoy it!
