Roda Golf is just 5 minutes from Murcia airport and only 1.5 km from Mar Menor, with it's fine sandy and gently shelving beaches. The accommodation is modern, spacious and has 2 bedrooms one with full bathroom en-suite, a separate bathroom, a kitchen with all appliances, a lounge/dining including double sofa bed, TV (with English channels), A/C installation and central heating, as well as spacious terraces with outdoor furniture. During the last week of January 2008 temperature was a comfortable 60/65f and the course virtually empty. Naturally, should you wish to come 'out of season' you can rely on our very low prices and usually(!)decent weather.

Local activities in and around Los Alcazares, Costa Calida - Murcia
There's plenty to do nearby apart from world class golf. Both Murcia and Cartagena are short drives with lots of really interesting sights. The beaches near Alcazares are excellent, shallow, gently shelving, and safe for children. There are lots of restaurants of all kinds in nearby Los Alcazares, Chinese, Indian and local eateries as well, in addition to the splendid Club house on Roda, of course. There are some well regarded scuba sites within 30 mins drive, and really quirky geology at the coast there. Otherwise you can find horse riding, parasailing, water skiing, the list of things to do goes on and on. However, just soaking up sun by the glorious pool and chatting to the friendly people staying at Roda can be a real joy. It depends on what interests you, it's all available.
There are brochures everywhere of numerous attractions for you to enjoy. Furthermore, fans of water sports will find one of the best places in the world for practicing sailing, canoeing, swimming, water-skiing, jet-skiing, fly surfing, windsurfing, and every other type of water sport activity in its numerous clubs, ports and sailing schools. Two seas on one coastline - the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean, impressive cliffs, fine long, uncrowded beaches of white sand, lively ports and wild coves with crystal clear water, more than 3,000 hours of sun a year and mild temperatures - even in winter - with a yearly average of more than 18ēC.
This is the Costa Calida, the ideal place to spend some days relaxing both in winter and summer.
