La Cachette has been fully renovated and equipped to provide a comfortable apartment in a sought after location, Dinan's historic port area. The original beams and floor boards have been retained and restored adding to it's charm.
La Cachette is on two floors, the first contains the living area with settee , dining table and chairs. In the corner is a well equipped kitchen with oven, hob ,microwave and fridge. A short flight of stairs leads to a double bedroom with ensuite bath room. Downstairs , there is access to a lockable store room , ideal if you bring bikes to explore the area.
Access to La Cachette is by a gate with key pad locking system, giving direct access to the quayside. Parking is available on the quay, just outside the apartment.

The apartment is located on the port of Dinan, an attractive quayside home to yachts, pleasure cruisers and small boats for hire. The port is also home to some of Dinan's best restaurants and bistros, you will be spoilt for choice!
On the Port you can sit and watch the world go by from one of the riverside cafes and restaurants, take a boat trip to the old citadel port of St. Malo or hire a self drive boat and explore the delightful river Rance. The more energetic may prefer to walk or cycle up or down the towpath. Ten minutes upstream is the picturesque village of Lehon with its own castle, twelfth century abbey and open air heated swimming pool complex. Leading up from the port is the cobbled Rue Du Jerzual, a serious climb up to the medieval town centre.
Dinan is one of the best preserved medieval towns in France, surrounded by high stone ramparts . Behind the old walls , the old centre of town has many timber fronted dwellings, where many artisan workshops and artist galleries and individual shops can be found. The old town is a lively centre at all times of the year where more good restaurants,bistros, cafes can be found. There is a good number of excellent golf courses a short drive away from the house, including Dinard (founded in 1887), St Malo, Pen Guen (St Cast) and Sables D'Or at Cap Frehel. Perhaps the best course is located at Pléneuf Val André, which should be on every golfers 'must play' list.
