Downstairs; Open plan living /dining room with space for 6. Two seater sofa and double sofa bed. French doors looking out onto white walled terrace. Terrace has table, umbrella and 4 chairs. Kitchen with walnut wood counter. Double stainless steel sink/drainer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric grill, gas hob and electric oven, fridge, freezer. Oak dining table with upholstered chairs. 32" Plasma TV and DVD player. Broadband internet. DAB radio. Radio/CD player. iPod dock.
Upstairs; Double bedroom/bed (4'6") with en suite bathroom with shower, loo (toilet). Liquid soap and hand cream. Hair dryer. Built in wardrobe. Second, smaller double bedroom/bed (4') with shower/loo opposite. Built in wardrobe.
Welcome pack includes tea, coffee, milk, salt, pepper, herbs, washing up liquid, cloths, dishwasher tablets, clothes detergent/conditioner, loo rolls, soap - so you only have to buy fresh food! Tupperware for picnics.
Owners live close by. Instructions and guides for all equipment. We have put together a booklet of guides, maps and recommendations for all ages and interests.
Centrally located, the house is located on a quiet street and offers a peaceful retreat away from the noise of the London traffic. Situated amongst London's finest restaurants and with the West End's theatre land a stone's throw away, the house provides a central point for the tourist or businessman/woman requiring short term accommodation.
5 minute walk to Holborn tube (say Ho-bun!), 6 minute walk to Covent Garden, Tottenham Court Road, Soho and Oxford Circus are about 5 minutes away by tube, Waterloo 5 mins bus/15 min walk, King's Cross 5 mins by tube.

Close to the famous Bloomsbury area where writer Virginia Wolf and the “Bloomsbury Set'' lived + Dickens. The area still has a “Bohemian air”. Also close is 'Legal' London + the City - home of the 'gherkin'. Canary Wharf is by tube (30 mins)
Nearby- within walking distance are Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, The British Museum, St Paul's Cathedral, the South Bank. Within easy reach are The Tower of London. No 10 Downing Street, Big Ben & The Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and the shops of Oxford St; also close to restaurants and theatre districts plus cinemas, museums, art galleries, nightclubs, parks, 24- hour shops etc, and excellent transport links to anywhere you need to go. Jump on the tube for Camden, Kew Gardens or Hampstead.
The Judge's House also serves as a great place from which to visit the rest of the UK and Europe with Euro-Star terminal on your door step.
Holborn takes its name from the Holebourne, a tributary of the now underground River Fleet. The stream was a major goods route from the Thames into the City and the area was referred to as 'Holeburnstreete' for the first time in 1249. Holborn is the traditional home of the legal profession. The Inns of Court, ancient legal centres, were located here to symbolise the law as a mediator in the battle for power between the City and Westminster.
The atmosphere of Holborn is still derived from the four surviving Inns: Lincoln's Inn, Gray's Inn, Middle Temple and Inner Temple. The courtyards and passageways of these Inns are a quiet oasis from the busy capital. The magnificent neo-Gothic Royal Courts of Justice, civil courts, are found in the Strand, and Chancery Lane, is home to the Law Society. Many buildings here survive from before the Great Fire
