Local facilities are only minutes away, an English supermarket and bar is a few minutes drive from the villa. A further few minutes is the bustling sandy beach of the Arenal with bars, restaurants, banks supermarkets and an English medical centre run by 2 British doctors.The port is only a 20 minute stroll from the Arenal, here a marina and pebble beach gives a great contrast whilst sporting more bars,restaurants and shops.This fishing port has a fish market for all to visit and buy from on a daily basis. The old town of Javea is up away from the sea, its narrow streets and beautiful church backing on to a large indoor market make for a very Spanish experience.Shadowed by the Mont go Mountain this area famous for its Tapas and coffee bars is a must to visit.
Taking the other direction from the villa is an area called Cap de la Nao, a 5 minute drive to the most easterly point of the region. This local beauty spot with lighthouse and nature reserve is flanked by coves, beaches and walks. These idyllic bays of la Granadella, la Barraca and Ambolo are ideal for swimming, snorkeling and diving, most have beach bars and restaurants.On a clear day it is possible to see all the way to Ibiza over 100km's away.
