Beautiful secluded coastal cottage with bright modern open plan interior. Stunning private sunny gardens. Sea views from living rooms and gardens. Bus stop in Killiney village. Close to Dublin city (30mins), blue flag beach (8mins) Wicklow mountains (20mins).
The cottage is situated in Killiney on the South Dublin coast. The Blue Flag Beach is a 8 min walk from the cottage, Killiney Hill Park is a 2 min walk. This park has many beautiful walking trails and viewing points looking out over Killiney Bay, the Wicklow Mountains and Dublin City. The Heritage Town of Dalkey is a 10 min. walk. This town has a castle and a museum. Dalkey has many fine resturants, art gallerys, gifts shops, bars, supermarket and the Railway station.
Dalkey Island (monastic site) can be reached by small boat ferry from the picturesque Colemore Harbour.
Sandycove is a 5 min. drive where you will find The James Joyce Museum, a small beach and the famous 40 Foot Bathing Place. From Sandycove you can walk to Dun Laoghaire Town Centre along the promenade.
There are many excellent Yacht and Golf clubs in the area.
Glendalough National Park, The Wicklow Mountains and The Wicklow Way Walking Routes are approx. 20 mins drive from the cottage.
Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port, the M50 motorway and the N11 are close by.
There is a shuttle bus from Dublin airport to Dalkey (40 mins).
Rosslare Europort is approx 1hour 45min.
