There is a golf course within easy driving distance and a fishing lake nearby, approximately one kilometre from the house. The surrounding countryside has numerous quiet tracks and lanes, ideal for a peaceful ramble or cycling for the more energetic!
The owners live a few kilometres from the property and visiters will have the reassurance that they will be available if required.
Spacious house ideal for up to four people. Set on two levels the house on the ground floor consists of a large comfortably furnished lounge with beamed ceiling and tiled floor, large fireplace with wood burning stove. Equipped with english satellite TV, DVD player, large selection of books and tourist information brochures. The separate kitchen with beamed ceiling and stone floor is fully equipped and furnished with traditional pine dresser, table and chairs for indoor dining. French doors lead out to the enclosed private rear garden with large barbecue and patio table and chairs for 'al fresco' dining. A large wisteria tree along the entire wall of the house provides shade, and the raised garden is well stocked with shrubs and flowers.
From the lounge a doorway leads through to the hallway, off which is a fully tiled bathroom with bath, sink, bidet, and over bath shower. A separate toilet is at the end of the hallway, and an understairs cuboard provides storage. Stairs lead up to the second level landing area, off which are two spacious bedrooms, one has an en-suite bathroom with sink, shower cubicle and toilet. This bedroom has a traditional french double bed, dressing table, chest of drawers, bedside tables with lamps, large built in wardrobe, window overlooks the rear garden with views across the fields. The second bedroom contains a king size sleigh bed, bedside lockers with lamps, dressing table and folding sofa bed and large built in wardrobe. Two windows overlook the front garden.
The front garden is accessed from the lane through double wooden gates, and provides ample parking. There is a honeysuckle covered arbour at the front of the house with table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee in the shade. The courtyard garden is stocked with with lavender, roses and honeysuckle, peach tree, and is completely enclosed.

Guéret and Lake Vassiviére - Creuse
Guéret is a bustling market town with museum, parks, restaurants, churches. Here you will also find The Wolves of Chabriéres Wild Animal Park, and a Giant Maze to get lost in! South of Guéret is Lake Vassiviére for numerous leisure activities.
