'Tresco' is a grade ll listed sand stone house. Built in the late 1800's from Pentewan Manor stone 'Tresco' is a former fisherman's net loft. As you enter through the front door you are greeted with a spacious hallway. From here there is a lounge with a leather corner sofa ,a freeview flat screen tv/ dvd and plenty of games and dvd's to keep the children happy.
On the other side of the hallway there's a dining area for 6 people. This leads into a fully fitted kitchen with brand new appliances ( dishwasher, double oven, microwave and fridgefreezer) . As you go up the stairs to the first floor you will appreciate the glory of this house. The stairway has recently been restored and is a true example of victorian craftmanship.
Upstairs there is a double bedroom, a seperate toilet and a bathroom with electric shower . The washing machine is also here. From the upstairs lounge which has a leather sofa bed you can access the stairs that take you to the attic ( low ceiling in places ). Here there is another double bed and a single bed. Two dormer windows give you spectacular views of Mevagissey harbour. 'Tresco ' is an ideal place to stay.
It is centrally located with shop's, restaurants and pub's on your doorstep. There are no hills to climb as you are literally seconds from the harbour front. Parking is included for 1 car at a local car park which is approx 200 metres from the house.

Local activities in and around Mevagissey, South West
Mevagissey is an ideal place to stay . With the Lost Gardens of Heligan on your doorstep and the Eden Project only 7 miles away, Mevagissey allows you access to many attractions. There are many more gardens to visit, the beautiful coastal paths and the wonderful beaches.
Polstreth beach is a 10 minute walk away which is a wonderful hidden beach used mainly by the locals. By driving just 15 minutes you can access more wonderful beaches on this coast and slightly further afield the surfing beaches of Newquay.
In Mevagissey itself there is the World of Model Railways, an Aquarium and a fantastic local museum.
For shopping you could visit Truro which is 25 miles away or Plymouth which is 40 miles away. Anywhere in Cornwall is easy to get to. Most places will take you up to 90 mins to get there.
Mevagissey is situated 5 miles from St Austell. The keys will be collected from us in Mevagissey. Directions for the house will be sent to you.

Rental Notes: We are flexible with our dates. We only live 100 metres from the property so we are able to have split weeks. Short breaks are available out of main season but if it is a late booking we may beable to give you a short break in the height of the summer months. There is no harm to ask!!
Change over is normally from 4pm but again we can be flexible. We ask you to leave by 11am.
We ask for a 10% deposit with the full amount paid within 6 weeks.
A refundable breakages deposit of £200 is required with the booking. This will be refunded within two weeks of departure subject to property inspection.
