The Chateau de Linde is outstanding – the chateau dramatically sits on the edge of the river Dordogne. The setting is unequalled. The Chateau de Linde has 6 double bedrooms all en-suite, and can sleep up to 12 in superb comfort. The chateau has a private pool and a terrace, the views sensational. The Chateau De Linde is on the edge of a village complete with shops, restaurants and museums. One guest recently exclaimed 'I think I have died and gone to heaven!' The owner Wilna lives on site to provide breakfast each day and to make sure that you're well looked after.

The six bedrooms are all named after the bastide towns in the area. The Chateau de Linde can sleep 12.
The whole of the ground floor leads out onto the terrace, the balcony actually that hangs out over the river! There is a beautifully renovated kitchen (complete with rotisserie and 'salamander' grill), dining room, living room and conference room. All rooms have doors that open out onto the terrace with matchless views of the river Dordogne below. The spiral staircase takes you to the first and second floors and the bedrooms.
Immediately on the first floor you have a landing with an open sitting area and a library complete with a balcony overlooking river! The setting is astonishing. There are 3 large double bedrooms, each with a modern marble en-suite bathroom and again superb views.
The spiral staircase takes one to the second floor (medieval tower) where there are 3 further double bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom.
Just outside the terrace juts out dramatically over the Dordogne, the setting is perfect for outdoor dining and cocktails. The pool side of the chateau is walled for total privacy. The infinity creates a feeling of swimming right on the edge of the river itself! The swimming pool is alarmed and fenced. There is plenty of outdoor and pool furniture. The chateau also has private stairs down to Dordogne river edge, where of course you can fish right there at the foot of the chateau. The Chateau de Linde has three bicycles available.

The Chateau De Linde sits on the edge of a village so all the required shops and restaurants are within a 2 minute walk. The chateau's location is ideally suited to make it your base for exploring the surrounding regions. Bergerac (25km) and Bordeaux (120km) both international airports) are within easy reach. Enjoy the historic Bastide towns of the Aquitaine, the Dordogne Valley, the chateaux, a rich choice of some of the the best food and wine that France has to offer. The notably regional specialities include the finest foie gras, truffles, and walnut products, duck and goats cheese. When it comes to golf, within a radius of about 50 km, there are at least 30 golf courses to choose from.
