The wonderful Domaine de Pouillet is ideal for weddings, family holidays, entertaining and corporate events. The owners Tim and Sasha offer a complete gastronomic experience for all guests. Within the Chateau there are 6 guest bedrooms, together with a 2 bedroom suite, all with quality mattresses! There are 5 further Cottages on the Pouillet estate that can be either self-catering or full board for large groups. The Domaine de Pouillet can accommodate up to 46 guests. There is a large heated swimming pool and 6 acres of gardens to relax in.
Fantastic cultural courses are available at the chateau and indeed bespoke tours of the Languedoc are also popular.
Built around 1840 in a very much a Napoleonic style, the owners having bought the chateau in 2002, have restored the Domaine de Pouillet to its current glory.
All guests have access to the private swimming pool and the Domaine de Pouillet has WIFI connection throughout. Each of the 6 buildings on site has a private kitchen, a dining room, sitting room and private terrace. The main chateau can sleep up to 16 guests in its 2 family rooms, 2 double rooms 2 twin rooms, and there are a further 2 bedroom suites with en-suite showers. The Monet house can sleep 7 in a triple room, a double, and a single bedroom. The Chauffeur’s cottage has a triple and a twin bedroom to sleep up to 6. Regisseur’s cottage can sleep 5 in a double and twin bedroom. The Chateau Garden suite has a double bedroom, a mezzanine bedroom and can sleep up to 5 guests. The second Regisseur’s cottage (Regisseur’s B) has a double and a children’s bedroom to sleep 3 guests. Finally the Garden cottage has 2 triple bedrooms and 2 sofa beds to sleep up to 8 guests.

Local activities in and around Narbonne, Languedoc-Roussillon
Very close to the chateau is the local village of Ginestas, its useful amenities includes a general store, a bank, boulangerie, post office, a few restaurants, and a poodle parlour! There are tennis courts in the local village, stables towards the rear of the château for riders and several golf courses nearby. The Chateau is surrounded by many vineyards in this beautiful countryside of the department of Aude, an area in the Minervois region of Languedoc. The Domaine de Pouillet is located close to the heritage sites of the ‘Le Canal Du Midi’ and within easy reach of Carcassonne, Narbonne and only 35 minutes from the coast. Narbonne being only 20 minutes away, it is well worth visiting the amazing covered food markets, and cathedral.
It is also worth noting that Barcelona is only 2.5 hour drive away and one can also ski in the Pyrenees!!
