This XVth century restored Chateau De Tilly is located in the Loire-Anjou-Touraine national park is now available for holiday rentals.
All the buildings at Chateau De Tilly are fully restored to their original glory and have modern bathrooms and central heating throughout. There are 9 double bedrooms in chateau and apartment, and a further 3 double bedrooms in the nearby Coach House, the Chateau De Tilly estate can sleep up to 24 guests.
The swimming pool (23'x49') and pool house is adjacent to the south facing Orangery. The grounds are beautifully manicured and there is a Chapel on site that is used for weddings.
The Chateau De Tilly is located in the region the French refer to as the “Garden of France”.
The Chateau De Tilly offers 4 double bedrooms on the first floor, 4 double bedrooms on the top floor apartment. The chateau can sleep 18 guests. The Coach House has 3 double bedrooms to sleep a maximum of 6 guests.
Chateau - On the ground floor one immediately notices the high 12” ceilings. There is full central heating throughout, tapestries adorn the flagstone hallway and main staircase and a crystal chandelier hangs from the 32' ceiling. There is a salon with comfortable seating in front of a working fireplace. Doors lead to both the library and terrace. There is also a cost TV room with DVD and SKY facilities. There is a study with a sofa bed together with a bathroom and 3 separate WC’s on the ground floor. To the right of the hall there is the elegant dining room with long mahogany table. There is a huge modern kitchen, a breakfast room, and a utility room. There are numerous French doors leading out onto the terrace and gardens. There is also a library, card room and snooker table which always proves popular.
The first floor (bedroom floor) has 4 large double bedrooms. There is an attractive WC at the top of the stairs. Each bedrooms is exceptionally spacious and all bedrooms have their own en-suite bath with tub or marble stall shower, and WC. All the bedrooms are private and have terrific views of the surrounds.
The top floor (Apartment) can be a self contained unit. Enjoy the “honeymoon suite” with canopied super king size bed and large stone fireplace. Steps lead up to the suites private bathroom. A circular stairway leads from the hall on the ground floor or from the bedroom floor to the apartment. There are a further 3 twin bedded rooms sharing the 6th bathroom. The apartment has its own kitchen and sitting room with DVD, SKY TV.
The gardens are glorious, and all guests have access to the castle’s pool house and swimming pool.

Paris is only as hour away by train from Tours. Nantes has a well serviced international airport (120km). Chinon is the nearest town with restaurants, shops and tennis courts. The Loire is famous for its wines, and châteaux. Should you wish to leave the chateau the options are vast.
