  A secure gate and a few steps lead to the townhouse style villa. The vestibule enters into the bright spacious lounge, then through glass panelled doors to a large, well-equipped kitchen and diningroom, with window and patio doors to the rear terrace. The ground floor also has a wc/shower room, store, and secure access to the basement garage.

The rear terrace offers a private walled patio with inbuilt BBQ in the traditional Portuguese style with tiled roof, chimney, and integral sink. A stylish stair leads up to the first floor landing which has three generous double/twin bedrooms and bathroom off.

The master bedroom (double) has private en-suite facilities and large south facing balcony -views to the Peniche coastline and beyond to the Belenga Isles on a clear day. The double and twin rooms both have large double doors to a balcony, with stunning views to the local church and down to the Peniche peninsula. Bedrooms have inbuilt wardrobes, chests of drawers and bedside cabinets. The main bathroom has bath with shower over, wc, bidet and sink/vanity unit.

The stair continues to the huge second floor attic room, which has matching sofa and chair beds, sleeping three people. This room leads out onto the large private south facing roof terrace, which has stunning views from the hilltop forest across the local countryside to Peniche.

The house is finished to an extremely high standard throughout, including stylish tiling and marble/granite finishes throughout. The kitchen is fully fitted, with all necessary appliances/accessories. Tiled floors keep it nice and cool in summer, along with a pleasant Atlantic coast breeze in the evenings. If cold(!) the house has full central heating, radiators and heated towel rails. All-in-all a true family holiday home which could easily cater for two families holidaying together!

Golf Courses: Priai D'el Rey - 10 min drive, Golf Camp Peniche - 15 min drive, Golden Eagle - 30 min drive, Campo Real - 40 min drive.

Good towns to visit: Caldas de Rainha - 20 min drive - market, shops, parks, boating, museums, hospital, Sintra - 45 min drive - fantastic historic town with palaces, castles, royal gardens, museums, and many more, Estoril - 50 min drive - described as the 'Monte Carlo' of Portugal, Lisbon - Portugal's Capital - full of mant excellent attractions and opportunities, Cabo de Roca - most westernly point on mainland Eurpoe, Lorinha.

  The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast region  
  As you drive round the area you get beautiful views of a land and coast line that remains unspoilt. There are numerous beaches within 10 minutes drive, including the exceptional Corticho beach, between Praia D'El Rey and the Obidos Lagoon at Foz de Arhelo. The quaint historic town Obidos is only 15 minutes away, it's a World Heritage site and full of morish history. Plenty of good resturants and bars - if you get the timing right there are a few excellent festivals held here through the year. Caldas da Rainha is a great shopping destination, and only 20 minutes away. There is a large pedestrianised town centre with many shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. There is also a good local produce market every day in one of the squares. Nereby Peniche is an old fishing town which is growing rapidly and developing into quite a busy shopping and eating area. The front leading to the harbour is lined with great fish restaurants. Just before Peniche, you will find Baleal beach

From airport - take the A8 Oeste/A1 Norte from Lisbon (toll road). Take the Peniche IP6 exit 14. Head through Serra D'El Rey toward Ferrel. Casais De Mestre Mendo sits in between these.

Rental Notes:
Bookings are generally taken Saturday to Saturday, however we will be flexible for mid week travel. Access available from late afternoon, and departure by mid morning (to allow for full cleaning and linen changes).

50% deposit is payable on booking, with the remainder due minimum one week prior to arrival.

A cancellation fee of £100 per week is deducted if the booking is cancelled.

A further refundable deposit of £100 will be returned to holiday makers once the property has been checked and cleaned after departure.

Deposit for holiday can be make by cheque.
