Beautifully appointed 2 bedroom apartment in a friendly family resort in Alcudia, Mallorca. This air-conditioned property sleeps up to five, has a fully equipped kitchen, a view of the sea and surrounding area from the spacious balcony and is a short (less than 10 mins) walk to Alcudia's famous white beaches.
Its well-maintained communal pool basks in the sun from morning 'til nightfall, while guests can wind down with satellite television in the comfortable living room, or enjoy the many nearby restaurants, bars and attractions on an evening.

The Siesta apartment building is related to the Belle-Vue resort in Alcudia, Mallorca, though now functions primarily as a residence for holiday-makers, Mallorcans and ex-pats alike. It is situated immediately in front of a rocky hillside, popular with hang-gliders, which forms a natural barrier enclosing the town of Alcudia itself. Seista's marble reception area, laundry, lending library and large communal pool are maintained to a very high standard throughout the year, and the reception offers discount mineral water and sundries for guests (please note: pool is out bounds between 10pm-9am). The apartment advertised here contains double and twin bedrooms, with the option of a fold-away sprung mattress, thus comfortably sleeping five individuals. It has marble floors throughout, and is furnished in modern, comfortable decor, which is constantly cleaned and renewed.
The bathroom has a combination bath/shower, basin, WC and storage for towels and personal items. Shower heads and plugs are replaced frequently in the interests of hygiene. The kitchen area, which borders on the lounge, has a fully functioning and modern hob, oven, fridge/freezer and sink, with plenty of storage and cooking utensils supplied. Both the lounge and master bedroom are air-conditioned, and both feature access to the spacious balcony through sliding doors. Two electric fans cool the twin bedroom.
The lounge area features a large three-seater sofa, two wicker chairs and a dining table seating up to five. Satellite television is also provided, showing English terrestrial channels, and some sky channels. The balcony is a real treat, offering spectacular views of the sea and the bay of Alcudia, particularily at night, where candle-lit refreshments at the outside table provide the perfect pre or post-evening entertainment. The staff of Siesta Two are friendly and approachable, helping guests with any enquiry, from booking time in the building's tennis courts to ordering taxis.

Local activities in and around Alcudia, Mallorca
The Siesta building is a short (less than 10 mins) walk from Alcudia's glorious white sandy beach, stretching nine miles from end to end. Recently the winner of a blue flag award for cleanliness, activities such as volleyball, beach soccer and watersports (banana boats, parachute sailing and pedalos) are in constant flow, while of course, stretching out in the sun or enjoying the shallow warm waters of the mediterranean are hardly a poor alternative! Of the several routes to the beach from the Siesta apartments, the most direct takes you along alcudia's 'strip', lined with restaurants and entertainment which should play a major part in any guest's evenings as well as daytimes. A boat tour also operates from the Belle-Vue complex, travelling on Alcudia's man-made lakes on a slower, but more relaxed journey to the sea.
Walking East along the beach brings you to Puerta d'Alcudia for a small taste of metropolitan Europe, particularly around the marina, which hosts delicious seafood restaurants, and even more impressive yachts. This area is also great for shopping, while visits to the historic fort and boat tours around the bay are ideal if you would like to experience something a little different.
Closer to the apartment building, the nearby show gardens offer a nightly source of multi-cultural entertainment, while mini-golf, go-karting and horse-riding expeditions also operate in the immediate vicinity of Siesta. An aqua park, attracting visitors from all over the island, is another safe bet for a fun day out, and is located between Alcudia and Puerto d'Alcudia.
Palma Airport is roughly 44km from the Siesta Apartments. Taxi and Bus services are available, though we can provide the option of discounted transport from the airport depending on times.
