Stairways are all hand built in genuine solid wood with expensive handrails and balustrades. Internet connection and phone access is available in the summer house. Double connecting door through to ‘The Smithy’, which can be opened if booking two properties together.
Kitchen: Each kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave. Utensils and crockery are plentiful and of good quality. A good range of modern units for plenty of storage.

Sleeping: Bedroom 1 Located on the ground floor the room is furnished with 2x 3ft zip and link beds arranged as 6ft double unless otherwise requested. Double French doors out to further private terrace at the side with views over the river and patio table and 2 chairs.

Chulmleigh is a picturesque village perched on a hill in the heart of the Devon countryside with panoramic views across the rolling hills and woodlands. The village itself has everything you need; from a convenience store, greengrocers and buchers to an Indian restaurant, Bistro and 3 cosy bars to choose from.
There are many activities and leisure facilities close by to ensure you have a fantastic holiday including fishing, walking, horse riding and golf. There is easy access to Crediton and Barnstaple just a 20 minute drive away and a further 10 minutes will take you to either the historic town of Exeter or the dramatic North Devon Coast.
Chulmleigh has one of the finest short 18 hole golf courses with views across the peaks of Dartmoor, the thatched cottages and Village Church with its beautiful tower. Or, why not take in the beautiful Devon countryside on horseback at Bold Try Equestrian Centre, or help you improve your riding skills in the outdoor school. The Chulmleigh link of the Tarka Trail is close by while the Little Dart Ridge, Valley Walk and Two Moors Way, are part of the national long distance footpath network.
