As soon as you arrive at Kemble Cottage, you will know you have found somewhere private and quiet to relax and unwind and yet you will be able to walk to some of the best pubs and restaurants in the area. Furnished to a very high standard with Laura Ashley sofa and chairs, White Company bedlinen and designer fabrics throughout, Kemble Cottage is a chic and stylish cottage. You can park on street (free) and usually outside the front door, the cottage is set in a road which is for access and residents only.
Beautifully furnished and presented, with great attention to detail, Kemble Cottage is your little home from home for the time you are here. Once inside, you will discover the comfortable beamed sitting room with inglenook fireplace and many original features; you can curl up and watch TV (digital freeview provided) and we have a selection of films to choose from. There is also a dining table and chairs. The kitchen is country style charm and is very well equipped with everything you will need. However, cooking skills ought to be limited as there are numerous eateries on the doorstep! Relaxation and an escape from the hum-drum is the order of the day. There is a washer/dryer, oven and hob in case domesticity sets in!
The master bedroom is everything you could ask for in terms of comfort..... and is very romantic. The king size four poster bed and French wardrobe add a touch of luxury to the room and, again, beams are exposed together with the feature chimney breast. Freshly laundered bedlinens are included in the rental and all beds are made prior to your arrival. Feather pillows and duvets ensure you have a comfortable stay. The second bedroom is small and has a full size single wrought iron bed bed. Though not large, it is a very charming room and children adore it! Travel cot/highchair available. The bathroom has full bath and shower over, toilet and washbasin. We provide all bath sheets and handtowels within the rental.

1 Bathroom. Beamed ceiling, bath with shower over, toilet and washbasin. A supply of toilet rolls is left for you. Bath and hand towels for each guest plus bath mat.

The cottage is very old and full of character and has a relatively steep/curving staircase; care is advised with very young children. It may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Local activities in and around Bradford on Avon, South West
Swimming pool (indoor) within walking distance and horse-riding, golf and hire of bikes nearby. Cumberwell Park Golf Course is approximately 5 miles away. Bath and its Georgian and Roman history is 7 miles away. Longleat, Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge and Bowood are excellent destinations for families. National Trust properties and gardens are plentiful and you are at the foot of the Cotwolds, offering the delightful villages from Castle Combe and Lacock to the Gloucestershire town of Tetbury and beyond.
Bath Thermae Spa
Swim in the thermal waters as the Romans did. State of the art spa with hot roof top pool, steam rooms and jacuzzi.
From M4 take Bath junction (18) and continue on A46 then A363 Bradford on Avon.
At second mini roundabout (Castle Inn) turn left then first right into Whitehill.

Rental Notes: Please note: we only take enquiries for short breaks within 3 weeks of the required dates and then only for a minimum 3 nights -otherwise, rental is for 7 nights. We do not offer long weekend breaks as this cuts into two letting weeks.
Rental is generally from Saturday to Saturday (7 nights). Check in is 4.30 and check out is by 10.30am on departure day, to allow full and thorough cleaning prior to our next guests.
Cleaning, towels and bedlinens included in the rental cost and also a welcome pack which contains bread, milk, butter and a bottle of wine. Supplies of tea and coffee also provided.
