Charming creeperclad farmhouse on hillside overlooking the sea with magnificent sunsets, providing complete privacy in an idyllic location between Honfleur 10mins to the east and Trouville/Deauville 15 mins to the west.
Kliklou is reached along a private 300metre track surrounded by apple and pear orchards on a hillside overlooking the sea.
Klikou has 5 bedrooms: two large doubles, one double, one twin and one single as well as 2 bathrooms, one shower room and 2 seperate WC's.
A secluded terrace lies on the west side of the house with uninterrupted views out to sea. Here you may relax in complete privacy. Due to the isolation of Kliklou it is not uncommon to observe all kinds of wildlife on your doorstep.
Our aim is that you may begin to relax as soon as you arrive and have unpacked. All household necessities are provided and so apart from your toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as beach towels, Kliklou will be waiting fully equipped to welcome you.

On entering by the front door, there is a hall off which there is a cloakroom with WC and hand basin, a pantry with washing machine, tumble dryer and sink, a door leading into the delightful kitchen which used to be where butter and cheese were made. There is a tall fridge/freezer and a second smaller fridge, gas hob and electric oven, microwave and double sink. There is another sink for the preparation of vegetables as well as a pine dresser and baskets for storage.The sitting room and dining room are Lshaped with a fireplace for log fires( logs included) and windows on all sides looking out to sea. There are two large 3seater sofas, 2 armchairs and a 2 seater sofa as well as a pouf in front of the fireplace. There is a large screen television and DVD player.
The dining room has a large oval table with seating for up to 9 guests.Double doors open out onto the secluded terrace with barbecue from the dining room.
Here are garden table, parasol and seating for 9 guests. Deckchairs are also available.
On the first floor are the main double bedroom with large double bed and en suite bathroom with bath, double washbasins and WC and a second double bedroom with large double bed with en suite shower.
There is also a seperate WC and hand basin on this floor.Behind the bedrooms, looking out onto the hillside and Bois du Breuil is a large Games room with Table Tennis.
On the second floor are three bedrooms: one with double bed, one with twin beds, and a single bedroom. There is also another bathroom with bath and hand basin.
Please note that for 2week, 3 week and 4week stays the price is considerably reduced from the weekly rate.
All sheets and duvets are included as well as a large bath sheet and hand towel per person.Please provide your own beach towels. Kliklou is cleaned and all beds and towels changed each Friday during a multiweek stay.

Local activities in and around Honfleur, Normandy
Normandy is of course famed for its sights of historical interest, the D Day landing beaches and memorials as well as the Bayeux Tapestry, however visitors also come to discover its great mix of lush countryside and miles of unspoilt coastline. In addition the region offers fantastic local produce including cider and calvados and of course excellent cheeses.
The delightful town of Honfleur with its long history and stunning architecture is hardly 10mins away to the east. Here you will find bustling restaurants, art galleries, churches and museums. Honfleur is particularly famous for its part in the history of Impressionism, where the artists at the end of the 19th century were so attracted by the extraordinary light which exists in the Seine Estuary. Deauville and Trouville with their renowned boardwalks, casinos, luxury shops are to the west.
The many day trips possible include: The famous Normandy Invasion beaches, including the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach, the Mulberry Harbour at Arromanches and its interesting museums, including a 360° cinema showing an impressive film,Monets Garden at Giverny, Le Mont St Michel, the beautiful towns of Rouen and Caen, Paris(2 hours by car),the National Stud at Le Haras du Pin, the famous cliffs at Etretat,the beautiful Pays d'Auge with its apple trees and lush green valleys may be discovered on foot, by bicycle or by car.
A tree climbing adventure park is 15mins away in St. Gatien les Bois, the nearest supermarket is 5mins away in Equemauville and the closest banks in Honfleur.
Several golf courses are within easy reach: St. Gatien 10mins, Golf de Deauville 15mins, Golf de St. Julien Pont l'Eveque 15mins,Golf de Etretat 45mins.
Horse riding may easily be organised in Pennedepie itself, with the vast beaches providing ideal galloping ground.
